3 A.M. Heartbreak Material Paperback – January 13, 2015

From the moment my copy of 3 AM Heartbreak Material arrived, I stopped what I was doing and began to read. It was hard putting it down. I was enthralled by how real, raw and powerful her poetry is. There's no sugar coating and I appreciate that. I admire Marisa Crane and her talent and I see greater things coming from her. And I am honored to be witness to it all. Bravo!

I loved this book, it helped me through a rough patch in my life and it's full of great word pieces. Would recommend it to anyone going through issues. It'll make you want to keep on reading over and over.

Marisa Crane never seizes to amaze, and this book is proof that she is true talent. Her poetry is so real and so raw, she is changing the world of poetry to being completely relatable.

Her talent shines through, despite the concept. The idea of breaking the book up into times of day is a good one, but I feel it was underused as many of the poems don't seem to suit the sections they are placed in. Her short stories are amazing, the main reason to pick this book up. I wish they had been showcased more instead of being added at the end of the book. If you like poetry and prose, this is a good addition to your collection. As this is her first effort, things will be amazing in the future.
