Worked very well, and stayed in place with all the weather, very sturdy, very pleased, ordered a second one

I bought this for a nighttime infrared camera that had to be mounted with stability. It has a pitchfork-like bottom in a single plane (ie, it's not a tripod and has to be stabbed into a substrate to stand up) and it stabs into the ground like a stake. The three prongs are strong and long enough to provide good stability, although I haven't seen it in a high wind or anything. It has a screw at the top to mount cameras, and the top swivels all around so you can angle your camera to suit your exact needs. The shaft is in two pieces and screws together and is very sturdy. For some reason, I thought it telescoped, but it doesn't--I wasn't paying close enough attention to the description. My intention had been to mount the camera maybe a meter and a half high to film a patch of ground, but the mounting stick is under a meter. It still worked out, and any taller would have compromised stability anyway. The only thing I struggled with was getting it out of the effin' plastic Clamshell Packaging From Hell, which resisted my attempts with scissors, a can opener, and a utility knife. I finally managed to stab it open with a utility knife to break it open (it does kind of break open along the side once you get it going). It took longer to get the freaking thing out of the packaging than it did to assemble it, stab it into the ground, and attach the camera. Apart from that, very easy to use and very intuitive. Make sure you have a stab-able substrate; if your ground is rocky this won't work unless you can find non-rocky part (think tent poles on steroids). This is a MUCH better way to use a trail cam than just trying to prop the cam up on something. The camera shot great videos--there was no moving or waving around, it was rock-steady.

When set up, the trail cam is about belly button high on me. But the product is pretty good and works as advertised. I wonder if they could add about six more inches (that's what she said). I will get another one but you have to be careful about vegetation growth around the camera. One good thing is that it makes it harder to see by people when placed among vegetation.

Makes it easy to set up a game camera. Works well as advertised. Can make vertical and horizontal adjustments to the camera. Quality is good, considering the low price.

Wood peckers (at least in my area) seem to love pecking apart trail cams sitting away from trees, but it works as it supposed to

Simple and fast setup

I have purchased three of these CAMSTICK devices. The first two are still holding up but the third and most recent failed at the top where an o-ring is welded to the shaft. If the o-ring fails then the CAMSTICK becomes useless, unless you want to use the bottom of the shaft to fend off zombies. This failure occurred after less than two months outdoors. The welds failed suddenly without being under any duress; I found my trail cam lying on the ground and there was no evidence that anything had struck the CAMSTICK as the shaft was perfectly upright. Upon inspecting the welds on the other two CAMSTICKS I found that there are only three small spot welds holding the o-ring on the shaft. Additionally, I have found rust appearing at various locations on the other two CAMSTICKS, but one of them has been outdoors for over six months with no problem. They are very easy to use, easy to set up, and otherwise very stable to use. Just be prepared to pony up money for replacements.I'm adding an additional comment. Two of the three units I have purchased have now suffered the same weld failure. I fully expect the weld on the third to fail soon. The concept for this item is good, but the manufacturing is poor. I won't be buying this item again.

For the price, this is a decent game camera stand. However, the wing nut that tightens the camera attachment to the top of the stand is flimsy and cheap. It's just a wing nut on a screw that goes through a hole in the collar and presses against the camera attachment. You simply cannot mount the camera such that it doesn't wiggle. I'll keep this one, but will not be buying more of this brand/style.

Love them, works great around farm land edges, because very loft ground other stacks would not hold camera up even slightly breezes...

If you like to move your wildlife cameras about from place to place this is much easier to use than faffing about with the straps which are supplied with the trail cams. Camera screws onto a swivel/tilt head which allows you to point the camera just where you want. Pronged base is easy to insert in the ground. It does a good job and is pretty unobtrusive; on more than one occasion I've struggled to spot the camera even knowing the rough area it was in. Some rust showing now after 4 months out in all weathers but its stood up to winter wind and rain and is still working fine.

Works great with my Browning trail cam. Happy with my purchase.
