Universal Tv Top Shelf (medium)

TV + Shelf + Media Player (Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, etc) = Perfection!
It was extremely easy to install and level the shelf; setup in one snap...no tools required! The front lip and part of the underside is lined with felt to prevent scratches on the TV bezel. The shelf is sturdy and stable even though it is not connected to the wall. I also appreciated the non-skid liner to prevent movement of what you place on the shelf. My TV has a .5" bezel and the front lip does not cover any pixels on the TV. I purchased this for an Amazon Fire TV so I would not have an HDMI/power cord from my wall-mounted TV to the furniture underneath.

This is the first time I have ever written a review. Unfortunately, I am one to reap the benefits of reviews and not contribute. I felt the need to add to these reviews and agree with this amazing shelf. I had a dilemma of not wanting to add holes to the wall and I could not use a behind the tv mount because of the shape of my soundbar. I decided to give this shelf a whirl and it took literally, less than 5 minutes to put on and it looks absolutely amazing! It has great purpose and gives the TV setup a very sleek look. I will be buying another one for the cable box in the bedroom. FYI, I have LG soundbar and went with 24"shelf and it's great!

Fantastic product that elegantly solves the problem of where to put the center speaker. I have a Samsung MU8000 65 inch TV. This product's front lip does overlap onto the screen ever so slightly. It's not enough to bother me but it might bother some. Be aware of this if you have a TV with an incredibly thin bezel. Otherwise 5 stars for a functional product that stays hidden and is very well built. Made with metal and not plastic.

Now this fits the "bill"!
I purchased this with hopes it would work out for me and when I installed it onto of my T.V ,it looked as if it was part of my T.V. ( really ) I purchased a soundbar recently as well and currently I am living in an apartment where I cannot attach shelves,T.V.s and pictures to the walls by drilling in the wall to hang them ( kinda a bummer there but.... ) Anyways, back to the shelf -- I placed the soundbar on the shelf after installing it to my T,V. and ( all is well ) the shelf is sturdy and supports the soundbar wonderfully. ( made my T.V. look very impressive and have even had some compliments over the idea of me doing that -- also made my girlfriend smile with my idea there too ) I would recommend to get one of these and see what happens to your dreams. The shelf is so easy to install ( really no need for any directions on how to put it up --- just look at the shelf and you will see how to do that there. I give it 5 stars for the quality, easiness, looks, durability and value for your money ( ever the compliments and smiles from my girlfriend there ) In short, just get one ,put it up and enjoy the rewards you will begin to start having!! ( I did and it's speaks volumes.... ) :-)

So good, I bought a second one
We hate the sound of our internal TV speakers, so we have soundbars on every TV. But it is sometimes difficult to place them as they are not small, and they often block the bottom of the screen if placed in front of the TV. One option is to drill holes, run cables up the wall, and hang them above the TV. What if you don't want to go through all of that? Get a Screen Shelf, that's what! Until I saw these for the first time, we went through lots of hit and miss attempts finding the best placement of a soundbar. These shelves are very easily placed on top of the TV with a simple, but ingenious mounting system. No drilling, gluing, mounting tape or anything else, They sit on top. They are adjustable and they can hold a lot. Like 40" wide soundbars. They have a non-slip pad that goes on the shelf to keep what you put on it securely in place. We already have one, and needed another. It was a no-brainer. We are super happy with the first one, then the solution to the same problem is clear, get another one. We did and placed our new soundbar in the bedroom on this shelf. It is a very very strong metal shelf, can be adjusted to fit any flat screen TV, is black to match the TV, and you can't even tell it is there. The soundbars look natural on top. I'm telling you, this is the way to go. We love them and they work. They look great, and now our TV's sound great because of this shelf. They are a terrific value for the price and it gets 5 stars all day long.

Great mounts for Speakers
I use a pair of these TV Top Shelf 6 inch mounts on my PC HD monitor to hold up a pair of heavy creative speakers. They actually work as designed. They are easy to mount and my speakers stay put. I went with this model and manufacturer because of the way the support locks in place. Other manufacturers use a bolt which I have seen wear out over time and fall off while this one uses a locking lever which I feel is more sturdy. My speakers are fairly heavy and they support just fine. The material is very sturdy and well made. Also comes with a rubber pad so anything you put on it will not slide off when a truck drives by your street :). I have a small desk so this allowed me to free up some room on my desk and mount my speakers on my monitor. Definitely plan to get another set for my TV to mount my Roku and Blu-Ray player.

Works perfect but a couple of minor nits
I got the 24" largest one and I'm very pleased! I was a bit worried that the legs wouldn't be long enough. I have a very thin monitor and I have it very low on the desk slanted up, so I was afraid that at it's most steep angle, it wouldn't be level. However, I had another inch or so to spare. It helped that my monitor gets thicker, the further away from the edge you go.Two minor nits:1) When I opened the box, the rubber non-stick pad (think carpet anti-slip pad) was coming detached. I could have just rested it but it would have slide around unless I glued it. That said, I'm glad it came detached so easily because I like the smooth surface. The things I have resting on it all have anti-slip rubber pads on the bottom so the extra pad was really unnecessary for me. YMMV.2) Because my monitor is at such a steep angle and the front lip of shelf wraps over the front, the felt pad is inadequate to prevent contact between the metal of the shelf and the plastic/glass front of my monitor. I suspect that over time, a line will be worn into the monitor. Not a problem for me because it's outside of the viewing area and this problem is specific to me due to the steep angle I like my monitor.

I have been craving a solution like this for years to reclaim some space in the TV area. So many different HDMI devices we have to own now for all the different services but where do they live? This is a very simple and elegant idea, and very well made. I bought the small one (6” across) and entirely trust it with my Apple TV - should be fine for any other small set top box like that. Also worth mentioning it has a sort of foam like padding stuck to the contact points on the inside of the shelf, and the contact point of the leg bit is rubber. So no worries about it leaving scratches.

Works well
I've been after something like this for a while - there are loads available but they are all plastic and probably won't last long. This Stanley version on the other hand is all metal in construction and should last for years. It's currently holding up my quite hefty centre speaker with no trouble at all. A bit on the pricey side but buy cheap, buy twice. This is the way.I wanted the 24inch version but it's never in stock so I will make do with the 12inch for now.

Mixed thoughts
I didn't know if this was going to be any good but although looking a bit flimsy it does sit quite well on the top of the screen. I does save drilling holes in the wall but don't knock the tv as it will fall off. Actually wire the speakers to the shelf and it doesn't. The legs to the shelf lock on to the back of the tv however if the rear of the tv is not flat then you may have problems.

Must have for soundbar
After a few weeks of ownership it's great. It holds the weight of our large soundbar and took seconds to fit. Its a better solution then drilling the wall. I was worried about the look above the tv but it just works.

Good product
Great product, could have done with it being a little longer and a tad cheaper, however it serves its purpose perfectly and I'm pleased with that.
