Great product! Highly recommend
This product works! I could see it bringing the mineral deposits to the surface and foaming up. It took multiple rounds of spraying to get the deposits to completely break down but I was fine with that. I used this product indoors on a stamped concrete floor. It has no smell or at least not a strong one and does not burn the skin. It was hard to find a product that was recommended for the indoors that I felt comfortable putting around family and pets. I am so happy with the results.

Does the job with caveats
I think it did a fair job of etching and cleaning basement floor. It certainly etched well and the odor was tolerable. My wet vacuum had some concrete dust in it so it worked. Concerns: they say it has a ph <1 but isn’t harmful to skin. I wore gloves and rubber boots along with painters overalls. The active ingredient is not listed. Not a concern for me, but would be important in an accidental poisoning incident. There should be a glued on seal under the cap. There was obviously some minor leakage during transport, although not enough to really complain about.

Works well on unsealed concrete
I have a colored concrete driveway that was poured just a week ahead of the cold winter temperatures setting in. Unfortunately, the efflorescence that formed created a terrible, splotchy appearance which almost completely negated the colored look which is what we paid extra to get. I tried a variety of products, some acids, some other efflorescence removers, etc. but this one was worth the money spent. It works exactly as the manufacturer claims. It foams like crazy when poured onto the surface of untreated concrete and definitely etches it. The one thing that it is not effective at doing is treating efflorescence that is covered with a sealer. The label clearly states this however. I have learned that I first have to take steps to remove the sealer that remains on the driveway and then use this product. Once that is done, the results are very good. I highly recommend this product.

First gallon did great second made a mess
The first gallon did just what it should do but the second left more white residue than what was on the brick to begin with. Now I just have a mess and am going to have to pay someone to come look at it and see why some bricks have more efflorescence than they did and why some grout came clean and some didn’t. I had someone helping me from the company, but he left for the weekend and I didn’t hear back on Mon, Tues or Wed. Of course it can’t be returned so I’m just out the money now.

Doesn't remove effervescence!
I bought this product to remove effervescent from my concrete pavers. It did not remove the effervescent it caused the whole area to be white. I called the manufacturer and was advised to try to use white vinegar to remove the effervescent. HUH??? That's what I bought their product for. Do of you're looking to remove effervescent don't buy this.

Effective and Affordable!
So I recently received a pesky notice from our HOA, telling us we needed to remove efflorescence from block wall. I dreaded the task because all those other concrete etchers have harsh chemicals that make it nearly impossible to apply without feeling like your lungs are getting vaporized and skin disintegrated! This product is absolutely AMAZING! Not only is it effective, but it doesn’t burn your skin or hurt your lungs. There is a slightly intense smell to it and you still should avoid inhaling the fumes, but it is possible to apply to block walls and not come in contact with the fumes. I recommend this solution over all those harmful chemicals. It is very effective on your block walls, not on your pocket.

Pretty good!
The product did a pretty good job I did 2 applications and the areas where the efforvesents was minimal came our perfect. The areas where it was very thick will need a 3rd or 4th application. I bet muratic acid would have worked better but I’m worried about getting it my eyes or skin. I will try this 2 more times.

Bought this for all the calcium build up on my bathroom tile grouts. Works like a charm. My dark brown grouting had gone white with mineralization. This got rid of it, all of it.
