Great barefoot shoes!
Great shoes! Super cute and comfortable, even wearing all day as a waitress. They aren't technically non-slip shoes, but they do have a pretty good grip on the bottom considering how thin the sole is. I'm pretty into "barefoot" style shoes, and these are perfect for that. They don't have any arch support, but again, that is the point of barefoot shoes. They definitely help my stride and posture when walking all day, I don't have any pain in my hips, knees, back, etc. Only my feet do get a little tired/achy but thats from walking/standing for 12 hours at a time, my feet feel much better in these shoes than from regular supportive shoes, thanks to the natural movement. I would advise, however, if you are used to wearing very supportive shoes ease into wearing these. Only wear them for an hour or two and gradually increase your wear to give your foot muscles time to adjust. I found these ran slightly large, but not too much to return them. Overall they are exactly what I was looking for and I would highly recommend!

Comfortable light duty walking shoe
This is my second pair of Jambus and my first pair of the Spin Too style. First, Jambus in general: amazing shoes! The footbed is as comfortable, if not more comfortable, than Crocs but the style of the actual shoe is something you would want to wear in public. This style is the barefoot type that is meant to give you a more natural gait. I have a Merrel style of shoe with the same idea and these are better than that pair, without a doubt. Jambu's barefoot soles have real substance to them AND are as comfortable as their design sounds. Others I've tried have been flimsy enough to feel a rock you step on but not these. Your feet are comfortable and protected from any wayward objects you might step on which is kinda the point of wearing shoes.Second, about this style. As mentioned in a few other reviews, the back of the shoe comes up a tad high on the back of the foot. The first day I wore them, a light walking day, they irritated the back of my foot noticeably but I wore them the next day and the irritation subsided - I'd call this pretty typical shoe break in. My gait was affected by that high back but wearing them a few days and now it's not. The front of the shoe is pretty open, I'd say I have average toe length and the front just covers them (no toe cleavage). I don't think the shoe would stay on your foot without that higher back since the front is so low.I wear these quite regularly now and I rarely walk out of them or find my foot stomping from the design. They are insanely comfortable like any Jambu, but, for long or brisk walks i prefer my other Jambus that have a strap around the ankle. Spin Too's are great for lounging and running errands but to go on a serious walk I'd choose another pair.

but all n all pretty comfy. size wise its right on the cusp ...
cute shoes, the back of the shoe does come up high on the heel causing some rubbing and blisters during the break-in process. the pink of the shoe came out lighter and less bright than i thought so it had a more little-girl vs girly-sporty look and the dark color of the shoe was more a light grey than a dark grey. but all n all pretty comfy. size wise its right on the cusp of being too small i've had other shoes by the same brand and never has my size fluctuated, but these seem to run a tad small. They're narrow, which works great for my feet. However, the inside pink lining of the original pair ordered was not cut to match the curve of the toe area on the left shoe leaving a weird gap between lining, base of the shoe and the material going over the top of the toe. So, I'm returning them for another pair in the same size/different color in hopes the lining on the new pair is fitted inside the shoe properly.

Great go to, slip on, anytime shoe.
Great slip on shoe anytime. I wear size 8 1/2 in most shoes and a 9 in athletic shoes or boots. The 8 1/2 in this shoe fits me perfectly from the first time I put them on. As others have said, I did realize the back with higher up on the back of my heel but I got used to it in a very short time. It is perfect to keep the shoe from slipping off. The heel is raised differently than my other Jambu flats but I am used to that now also. I highly recommend these flats for casual wear. After wearing the shoes a few times, they began to slip on my heals so I put heel pads that stick on inside the heel and they work perfectly. I wear these almost every day in black or navy. I want more colors to match my wardrobe. Bring more blues, reds.

If only I were a statue...
...these shoes could be so comfortable. I ordered down a half size from my athletic shoe size, and it's just right. I slipped my feet into them and they felt so good: nice and wide at the ball of my foot, the upper covers nicely all the way past your toes. (Another reviewer said no "toe cleavage"--I like that.) The footbed feels comfortable without being overly spongy, or structured. The toe box accommodates my squared-off foot shape. But the backs come up to exactly the wrong point on the heel. It's not exactly that it is too high, the problem is that it's too stiff. Standing perfectly still, they are the comfiest flats I can imagine; at every footfall, the back slices into your Achilles tendon. I tried tucking the softer top edge down, but that seems only to exaggerate the digging. I don't know if I want to take a chance on these never breaking in. Too bad, because I love my old Jambu sandals, and wanted so much to love these, too.

Highly Recommend!
I love these shoes. I bought them in black and I'm considering buying the gray w/salmon color as well. I purchased a size 6, as I normally wear a 5.5/6 and this particular style is unavailable in a 5.5. They are slightly large, but still very wearable and comfortable. That being said, if you run between shoe sizes, err on the small side when ordering. These are perfect shoes for summer, as they have great ventilation and rubberized, well-gripping soles - no socks necessary. The footbed, though somewhat lacking in arch support (which is fine by me), is very soft and bouncy/squishy, adding to the comfort level.
