My fiancé LOVED this shirt. He wears it every time he goes to the river. The length is good, the thumbs holes aren’t too tight, and the overall fit is perfect. He does t really use the hood but that’s just his preference. I recommend!

I like it, mostly. And it was actually perfect for my use--I bought it to be a diving rash guard. Sun protection while on the boat, bright-colored jellyfish protection underwater. I tend to roast the back of my neck while on the boat, so a hood seemed like a good idea. It works really well for this use, and packs down to nothing.To make this perfect, there would be more of a weave in the fabric. These polyester materials need a definite 3d weave so that it's not in 100% contact with your skin. So, this is only great breathability when 1. --you're wet, or 2.--you have a solid breeze. So, to make this perfect for fishing or yard work or whatever, make the fabric not so slick.Hilariously, I got a compliment on it from a very fancy British lady on my last dive trip. She thought it was awesome right up until she found out it was a cheap Amazon product.

My wife bought this for me before we traveled on vacation and I love it. I also have the gray color and I’m thinking to get more for this summer. Perfect weight for the summertime

Comfortable shirt overall, though it’s not as breathable as some higher-end UV options. The hood is cut a bit short, it won’t fully cover a billed cap without pulling up the rest of the shirt. As another reviewer put it, “it’s like they ran out of fabric.” This design forces you to wear the hood farther back on your head, which reduces sun protection for the face, though the neck and ears remain well covered.
