Cat/Dog Pooper Scooper

I was utterly amazed with this product. We run a doggie day care/boarding facility in Arnold Mo called Dogs In My Home and we pick up a ton of poop. When I saw this product it seemed like it had addressed the main issue of why I never used a pooper scooper to begin with, because of the mess of the thing. The Poogo stick is amazing. The lever that pushes it into the bag is perfect and it really does work on wet or dry poop. Not only that, but you know how sometimes it kind of gets under and in the grass, well this rake like side just lifts it right out without damaging the grass and it does cleanly push the poop, even wet poop, right off of the shovel area and right into the bag. This could be the best invention I've ever used. I have always just used three pairs of gloves and did it myself. All the bending over and carrying around the heavy sack always left my back hurting. This takes away all of those issues. As you set the thing with the bag down each "stop" and use the other thing to get the poop. No bending over, no hauling the bag around, just easy and quick poop pick ups. I won't even need to pay the kids to pick up poop anymore, it is a piece of cake. If you have poop to pick up, you need this contraption, it is perfect.

The poogo stick makes it easy to pick up poop outside. Before the poogostick I used to put a plastic bag over my hand and go around picking up the poo and putting it into another plastic bag. Now I don't have to keep bending over and pick up gross feeling poo. I like that it has push through holes to hold a grocery bag in place, so it makes it easy to pull the bag out. It adjusts to fit left and right handed people. I even talked my mom into buying one for herself, but then found out it doesn't work well with gravel landscaped yards. Thats is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It wasn't something I thought about since I only have grass. I have told numerous people about the poogo stick because I think its just the best!

At first I thought this would be a great idea for the kids to finally help with this chore. However, the lever was EXTREMELY hard to squeeze for not only the Kids (12, and 11 y/o), but also for myself and my husband. Then...2 months later the cord to operate the lever broke, rendering it useless. Poor design and manufacturing. Wish I could get my money back!

Does not hold up that well. Nice while it is working. Wanting it for a commercial use, like a doggie daycare, training facility or kennel? Don't get it. Also, the rake-type scooper gets really dirty (if the stool is at all soft) and does not work as well as the flat, solid-bottom scoopers.

Makes a yucky task almost ok. We have 3 dogs. And, well I love my dogs, but hate the poo. Seems silly to love a poo picker upper, but the PoogoStick is fabulous. Walking in my yard used to be like walking in a minefield. Now, much better. I can even walk around with my head up and not down watching the ground. Easy to use. Attach the bag, scoop and "flick" in the bag. Bag comes on/off easy. Toss in trash. This is my second Stick. Love this stick!

The basic metal one is better and more reliable. This one is plastic and the spring fling shoots poo out - a tad hard to control and can shoot outside of range (onto your feet) eek.

Works great for both Grass and dirt! Our metal scooper brokeso we were in need of a new one. I like that this one you use bags so the scoop stays clean. We have both high grass, dirt and rocks and this works like a charm. I sure hope this lasts longer then our others.

The spring doesn't like to fully release sometimes, but it's still the best scooper I've found. Don't waste your money on the bags though. There's no ends to tie, they're just a little too small, and they cost more than the grocery bags we all have hundreds of anyway.
