high quality, sharp, MADE IN USA
I bought some X-acto brand #17 blades because the seller was using a picture that said "Made in USA". But X-acto company (now a subsidiary of Elmer's Glue and sub-subsidiary of some huge corporate conglomerate) has now sold us out and their stuff is all Chinese now. So the X-acto brand went back to Amazon, and I ordered these. They are very well made (in USA) and they are very sharp. Buy American!

They are sharp
Not a lot to say about blades like these. However I noticed that they are much thinner than my other blades. I use them for doing electronics repair. They are always breaking when scraping off adhesive. My other blades have never snapped or chipped. In ten years I have never had this issue. Thinking I will might pick another brand next time.

A Must Have For Detail Work
If you have any hobby that entails detail work, this blade and the #11 blade are a staple in any hobby tool box. The bulk purchase was the best value per blade and to preserve the others from getting any rust on them, I liberally spray the wrapper or the box with WD-40 and they should last about 50 years in that condition. They are sharp and get the job done whether it is trimming plastic from a model or cutting balsa wood. I have been stuck a few times so they are well sharpened at the factory.

Great Blade
I like this blade a lot, it is very handy for many things. I've used it to clean up paint behind molding, shaving bits of wood for the models that I build for my model RR. It has just so many uses its hard to write them all down. Have fun exploring the many uses yu can find! Chuck

Great Bang for the Buck
I bought these blades to try out for cleaning 3D print build plates. I have use of only one side of my body, and so I sometimes have to get creative. These are perfect for getting underneath a raft or a brim, and even if I abuse the hell out of it, I can still make a very clean slice through a piece of paper with very little effort (two fingers holding the paper, three working the blade). I'm sold.

Nice sharp blades
Good product, just be aware these do not fit a regular handle.

Great #18 Blades
These #18 X-acto blades are every bit as good as the originals. They’re thick and sharp, and being able to buy them in a pack of 50 is economical as well.

Not Great
My original Xacto blade lasted me over a year of cutting plastic from sprues. These last about a day or two and become easily nicked when cutting soft plastic.
