It was the slimmest box on amazon that wasnt a ripoff. The plan was to take a helicopter ride to the grand canyon and propose there. I tucked the box in my sock at the hotel room. Under the leg of my jeans it was unnoticeable. We asked some random couple to take a pic of us, I got on one knee, pulled out the box and asked. The light inside was a cool touch.

The box looks very nice on the outside and inside but it it's not very tall. I had a real hard time getting the ring inside. I had to angle the ring at an extreme angle to get the lid to close.If you're in a pinch and this is all you can get, it'll do the job, but I'd look for something else if the ring you have is anything other than a circle.Another downside is that the packaging they put inside of it left an indent on the felt. It really took away from the quality look on the inside but it was hard to see in the dark so it didn't matter as much.

This was a good ring box. Unfortunately the lid was too shallow for what I needed. The box can easily hold simple bands like the one pictured, but any ring with a diamond or stud that comes up above the band, you run the risk of the lid not closing properly. This would be the perfect box for a basic band ring, or earrings, or perhaps cuff links. However for a diamond ring I needed a bigger box, and found one sold by another vendor.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! ZERO STARS!! This is straight up a nice box and that’s it!!! No effort whatsoever...there was no light, missing LED. Upon further inspection I noticed that there was not even a battery nor was the wiring soldered... just a piece of garbage. The seller does not care at all.... returned the item back for credit. Huge disappointment and a waste of my time... Don’t do it, I went against all the negative reviews and now see why they get them

I didn't expect great quality out of this, I just wanted a box with a light so I could propose at night. This was perfect. The outside is a smooth rubber material that feels cheap, but that's really my only complaint (and again, I was expecting that). The light worked right out of the box and has held up with daily opening and closing for a couple months now, but it's never opened for more than a couple seconds each time. The box was super easy to hide because of it's size, but I bought it for a ring that's a size 3.5 (tiny!!) with the gem and crown and all extending maybe 5mm or so. Great size for that but I'm not sure a ring much bigger would fit.

I am super happy with it, the light is awesome since I plan to propose at night. I will say I expected the product to come and have a hard exterior like the description said, but the exterior is fuzzy like the velvet inside. I haven't opened it since I put the ring in and stashed it away, and it will likely sit for a few more weeks until I propose. If I need to edit my review I will, but otherwise, I am really happy with it.

This box isn't "slim" by any means, but it allowed me to propose on July 4th, at night -- in a pitch-black field surrounded by fireworks.Use this box, and say "There's one more firework." It worked for me!I bought two at the time of purchase just in case they were cheaply made and crapped out before I could propose. I did not need the 2nd one, as it's very well made.

Garbage. Ordered 2, both didn’t work.

The ring looked great in the box. It added a nice wow to the proposal. My fiancee loved storing the ring in the light up box, but it's not really meant for long term use because the batteries die quickly, and you have to tear the glue away to replace them.
