Looks amazing, solid build, and (seemingly) great value.
First off I'll start with the good things about this changing table. It looks really good right up until you get a few inches away to reveal the MDF/particle board composition. That's actually fairly impressive given this is a $300 piece of furniture. The pieces appear to have a strong durable finish, and it arrived without any dents, scratches or imperfections. Considering how the box arrived that's really surprising. With respect to appearance, the furniture looks amazing. It looks like it should be much more expensive than it was, and the drawers slide well, and the door fits and opens easily. The changing top is one of the nicest I've seen yet, and I'm the avid researcher that looked at all of them. I would absolutely buy this again. And now for the not so good items. The instructions aren't great. I truly hope you love legos, because this is an adventure. It took me about 1.5 hours to put together solo, but I've got a great drill, specialty bits and a passion for legos. If you aren't handy, this might take you a while. The other main issue I have is the safety drawers. They slide great, but only about halfway. It makes putting any larger items in the drawer a hassle because you have to lift the drawer a little to hop over the safety slide and then pull it out more. If the safety catch was about 3 inches back from where it is the drawers would be excellent. So far, the positives far outweigh the negatives. But I'll try to update this once the kiddo is actually here and we're using this thing a lot. It looks durable, but there's a lot of abuse coming its way in a few months.

Don't waste your money, its a piece of junk and the company will not replace if it breaks.
This is a complete piece of junk. We took it out of the box to set it up in our sons new room after a year of having it in a box waiting to give him his own room. After setting it up, my boyfriend and his father tried to move it a couple of inches to where we wanted it in the room and the leg literally broke on the left side. I called customer support who offered to ship me a new one, but only if I took this one apart and sent it back so I did and it took me a month to find a box to fit it in. I paid almost $50 to ship it back and they never sent me a new one. I called and complained and never got a new one and a month later the box was returned to me. I ended up hiring a carpenter to fix the broken leg but the drawers still don't work right and its a complete waste of money. I am super disappointed because we loved the color and bought the crib to go with it and it was the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought ever! I do not recommend you waste your money because you will end up with a product that is worth less than $50 bucks after spending almost $300. Completely unhappy about this and thankfully was able to talk four people out of wasting their money on this.

The word "mediocre" comes to mind
Update as of 8/29/17.My wife and I purchased this item back in June so we would be ahead of the game for our (soon to be) son's arrival. The cabinet door has been opened and closed about a dozen times and the plastic mounts that hold the door have already separated form the side of the dresser. I am hoping that the manufacturer or seller can do something to resolve this issue as the item has not been used beyond original setup and layout.Original review:Let me start by saying that this dresser looks great. That said, the material quality is not what we expected. It is almost exclusively made of cheap particle board, and the changing table had paint chips in it. My guess it that it will last until our little guy becomes mobile...then one child pull on it and all bets are off. The instructions are easy if you are even mildly handy, but be prepared for some drawings that will have you wondering what they were thinking. In short, I wouldn't buy it again, but it will do for now.

Really Great Buy!
This dresser is amazing! If you like the style - order it, seriously. Of all the changing dressers I've found through my research, this one is the best style overall and even a better price than many others which I did not like as much. This piece is beautiful and surpassed my expectations. I did spend a bit more $ than I initially allotted for a combo but it's worth every cent. Lovely for my sons nursery. Very unique piece for great price. I love this style, color and functionality. The sliding shelves in the cabinet are perfect for storing diapers, wipes, cream, and all other hygiene products for easy access while changing baby. Makes it much more efficient - just slide out and back into the dresser when done. Voila. The color goes perfectly with my unique color scheme (grey, blue, and white) however this would go well with so many color patterns as well.Dresser was quoted to arrive in over 5+ days but came in about two - which was great. It is heavy so you'll need help to bring it into your house. I set it up on my own though, and it was easier to maneuver once pieces began coming together. You should assembly on soft surface to maintain integrity of the product. It did come in many pieces so I set aside enough time and everything worked out well. Everything was intact and no damage whatsoever.I've never installed a piece of furniture but Instructions were easy to understand and there are pre drilled holes in some areas where I was unsure the screw or nail should be placed. Took me a while to put together because I checked everything two or three times to be sure I had everything in its rightful place so as not to get to the end and have to disassemble and start over in any area. Note: the panel for the back of the dresser can be easily missed in a box full of shipping supports so be careful not to miss it. It looks likes a large piece of cardboard in the box but it's not, it's essential for the final step of assembly (the piece is marked with warning notices however I missed it because it looked different than all of the other pieces, and again I've never assembled anything like this before.Love this dresser, thank you South Shore!! Perfect for our unique nursery and brings our style together perfectly. Thank you for this wonderful product. We all love it.

Nice addition to the nursery with minor issues
We saw this change table online at several retailers and purchased it through Amazon because it was about $50 less. We read many reviews on how it took a long time to put together and some parts were delivered with damage. This change table took about 4 hours to put together and is very heavy. We did see some parts with chips or cracks in it but we figured those parts would not be in plain sight (when finished the chips were inside the right cabinet). Overall it is a nice addition to our daughter's room - we went with a grey/pink/gold theme and it has a nice soft shade to it. The only issue we had when putting it together was attaching the right door. It needed a lot of tweaking to be perfectly aligned and it might need to be tightened once in a while as our door is starting to feel wonky. For us, the cons to this table were not deal breakers and we love the design and functionality of it.

Worth the money if you have patience
One star because I like the style of the table (the pull out shelves, the extra section on the top right side). Second star because it didn't take too long to assemble (about 4 hours). Third star because I actually do like the dresser in the end.I suggest if you buy this table, take the time to label all the screws, nails, and assembly parts to avoid confusion. However, very unimpressed that there were screws listed in the material guide that were not included. After going out and buying them myself, there were no assembly steps that even used them. You will need a drill. Some of the predrilled holes were mis-aligned, so using a simple screwdriver won't work unless you have hulk-level strength. However, If you take your time to read the instructions carefully and closely study the photos, you should have no issues with assembly. In the end, all the little issues were easy to work around because (thanks to other reviews), we went into it prepared.I am the most unimpressed with the drawers. The childproof stoppers make them stick halfway when opening, then you have to lift them upwards to open them the rest of the way which makes an awful lot of noise unless you open them slowly. In the end I'm personally satisfied with it, but if you are picky then look somewhere else.

Shoddy materials, impossible to put together, Huge waste of money and time - Expensive garbage
The box arrived battered and torn and wasn't even delivered up my steps. It was incredibly heavy. Pieces were already scratched when we opened the box and continued to get scratched with any light touch. There were so many pieces and the instructions were incredibly difficult to follow. The quality was not as nice as it looked and the colour is much lighter. Directions were so hard to follow that we made mistakes putting it together. Basically now it's a wobbly dresser, lower quality than IKEA - no way am I planning on putting my baby on it. Basically it was $300, 4 hours of assembly and is heading out to the curb. Unless you are a genius at putting furniture together and you don't mind having it covered in extremely visible scratches, most of which were made before it even got here, don't buy this.

Solid great looking dresser/ change table
Shipped quick got it during the one really bad snow storm last winter and it was broke. On delivery once piece had the leg broken. The company is amazing sent them the part number and boom 2 days later brand new piece fully wrapped so no more damage. As for the actual piece it's great good storage and find the change table to be way more useful because it doesn't require any extra space in the room. Some people say it's hard to put together it took about 2 hours by myself (built the drawers the day before)

Nice looking
The product arrived earlier than expected but unfortunately there were missing doors and side panel in bad shape. We phoned the mfg and to their credit affered to replace it but we decided to wait for the parts as it was 1/2 built. They arrived safely the following week. A bit disappointing as it was not a cheap piece and would have thought qualityControl would be better.
