Riviera SunShort Sleeve Dresses

First off, the dress arrived as described. Very pretty. Washed it, as anyone would a garment before wearing first time. Washed exactly according to label instructions. ALL of the color is GONE from the upper half of dress. Unbelievable. The dress went from colorful to drab. Very unhappy with purchase. Should have been labeled appropriately that the color would be GONE upon washing. $21.00 literally down the washing machine drain. Very disappointed.

Love this dress.I'm a 2x and it fits perfectly.ONE problemTHE COLORS BLEED BAD! I saw some reviews that it did so I washed it in the sink. SO Glad I did. Check out pictures.

I bought four dresses to take with me on a trip to Mexico. Three arrived in time, this one among them. It came out of the bag looking lovely and I was thrilled with the colors and shape. I had read other reviews and read the size chart and decided 2x would be good for me. It was just too big, which was sad. I wear an 18 and definitely would have fit in the 1x, and maybe even the Extra large. I have fairly trim arms, a large rib cage (42) and chest (D), and carry most my weight in the hips (a pear shape). The shape of the dress is perfect for my shape. I was so sad to have to return it.I can't speak to the color washing out issue, but can say the material is a very common smooth rayon, almost cottony but much thicker than usual. It may have been too warm to wear in the humidity I was going to, but with the flow of air due to the shape, it may have been fine.

Prettier than expected. The unexpected black embroidery on the black top & bottom is lovely. The orange (not red, as expected), yellow, & green batik dyed stripes otherwise as expected for batik. the colors have not washed out since washing. I machine wash gently with a no additives detergent. It did have an chemical odor out of the bag and I strongly recommend inspecting the seams etc, then washing before wearing. I apparently had a reaction to whatever causes the odor.

After reading all the reviews, I was anxious to open this up and see what this weird smell was. It didn't smell that strong of anything. It smelled a little like new fabric and dye but it wasn't overpowering at all. It fits perfect to the size chart. The sleeves are definitely cap and do not hang down as in the picture. I am very happy with the purchase. After reading all the reports of color fading, again you have to remember if this is hand tie dye - hand wash in cold water with a very little mild detergent. How dirty can it get?

Well I guess I should have read the reviews before I bought this. The color washed right out of it. Luckily I bought it as a house dress and it's very comfortable so it's not a huge lose although I may decide to get creative with acrylic paint and add the color back. I am disappointed that I received this quality from Amazon though. I thought y'all were better than that.

I ordered a plus size in this dress but the top black part does not fit below the bust and doesn't flow as shown in picture. It looks more like a tent and the colors bleed so that the green dye color bled into the black part. I am glad I decided to just buy one to see how it would look before buying more as Christmas presents. I am sorry about the fit as the dress does look cute on line but not what was purchased.

I tried this on earlier after a shower, and it is a little big on me (small), and I'm about 5'3" 125 lbs. I'm somewhat disappointed, especially since there is a specific event I bought this for (not that I wouldn't wear it any other time). Although I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a little loose-fitting since it's a sundress. It goes almost to my ankles as well. Might look for a different dress depending on what the boyfriend thinks.

I am very happy with this dress. Sometimes when you order on line as i have ordered a dress from "Wish" on line and it looked nothing like the picture. I literally dropped it off at the good will. So for this dress i order from Amazon it was more beautiful than the picture. The material is really nice and it fits wonderfully. In fact i ordered 2 others and get wait to get them. I didn't take a picture in it but when i do i will post it.

It's just as beautiful in person. Great dress. True to size.But I must note it shrinks in dryer. It becomes shorter after u wash it. It doesn't feel tighter but lengthwise it's a bit shorter.

Perfect for this hot weather. Fits perfectly. Love the material and colours.
