LRI PII PRO-Red Beam LED Black case-Red LED

Been carrying one of these since my deployment in 2004, I kept it on my dogtag chain and held it in my teeth if I had to give IV's or other medical aid at night.I use this one for hiking instead of a headlamp, it is much dimmer, but more than enough to hike full speed at night, and the red LED doesn't hurt night vision, and lasts longer on a battery than the white LED. Pretty easy to pop the back cover off for battery changes, which is much rarer than you would think. Didn't like the old design with the 4 tiny screws.I've taken this through bad rainstorms hiking at night, and dropped it on rocks and such, and it kept working.1/4 ounce and totally dependable, can't go wrong.

I bought this to replace my original proton, which has been on my keychain for years but finally broke. I thought the squeeze-to-toggle would be more convenient than having to hold the switch. The light itself works well. I bought both red and white colors, red for night vision, and generally I prefer the white color for keychain use, since the red sometimes makes it hard to see because of the color change.I found that I don't like the toggle switch for keychain use because the switch sometimes gets pushed in my pocket, leaving me with dead battery and no light when I want to use it. For me at least, I will go back to the original hold-for-light design.

Easy to use and i like the clips it comes with. Not as good as the old photon lights we used in the semy 15 years ago, but almost.

Love these lights. They are red so they do not interfere with night vision. They are pretty bright in the dark--light enough to walk anywhere you need to go. They do cut off after a certain length of time, and that is good because it doesn't use up the battery. I keep one in my pocket all time at night.

A decent light, but it times out after about 5 minutes of use. This became very annoying after my main light went out while hunting and I had to rely on this to get back to camp

These are great for moving around at night without disturbing others with lights.
