Tight waterproof seal and good design and material.
Worked exceptionally well. No leakage. I didn’t experience any sliding, but I could see that depending on your shower floor surface, you would exercise great caution. Also if you have thick thighs as i do, the adult full was a bit tight, though not super uncomfortable. I just figured it would deliver a tight seal as well. You can always just not bring it up as much I suppose.Dries quickly and well. Highly recommended.

I would recommend this item. I broke my foot and have a cast almost to my knee and this works great. It really water proof. It can be a just a little hard to get on if you do it by yourself. It's real easy to get off.

Deb - highly recommend this product
Excellent product! It kept my cast completely dry and the seal at the top of the bag was just the right fit; it was tight enough to keep the water out of the bag but was extremely comfortable. Product was thick and durable. I highly recommend this product.

Does not work with high immobilizing brace BUT we made it work with Therabands
Our 16yo son is in a high thigh length immobilizing brace after knee surgery. I was unsure if there would be enough stretch in the top gasket to first even fit over the wide knuckles of the brace, and then questioned overall length to cover the brace in its entirety... but there was only one way to find out! The top band did stretch over the knee area with its wide adjustment knobs. Not easily though- we had 4 hands working the band inching over the bracing. However there was not enough stretch to make it the final 2" of the brace up his thigh. I cut the rubber gasket just shy of the plastic sleeve to gain that extra girth. He is 5'-6" tall and the top of brace is at 28.5" off the floor. The length of the sleeve once on him is <just> shy of the top of his brace. BUT with a few therabands at hand we made it work! First we duct taped over the cut gasket to ensure continuity. Then we used one wide and long pre-cut theraband to act as a new gasket essentially covering the original, and providing extra leg-length we needed. Duct tape did not stick to the theraband, but we had a second uncut theraband that was the right diameter that slid on over, holding the first theraband nice and firmly in place in place of tape. This McGyvering really worked well- his brace stayed perfectly dry and we were able to remove both therabands and the Asunby cover post-shower without tearing the plastic. IF this company were to make another size larger I'm certain it would be a slam dunk for our needs. I give this product as-is 4 to 5 stars because it's really great quality and I can see how it likely would work perfectly for a slightly shorter cast situation. Updating this post after 1 week of use: at my son's 1 week post-op appointment they removed a lot of bandaging thus was able to reduce the girth of the brace a bit, which makes getting this Asunby easier on & off. We have also ditched taping the top of the band and going with 3 Therabands to provide extra gasket/ length. It's working well, but still a 4 hand operation.

Quality product, exceeded expectations.
I needed to cover my splint and ace bandage after surgery in order to shower. This cover worked perfectly. The blue neoprene-like ring around the top fits snugly (I’m a plus-sized woman) and the plastic cover was very thick, not likely to tear. I’m also short-ish, at 5’ 5” there was plenty of length in the cover. People much taller would be blue to wear this above the knee. One trick I found was that in order to get it off over the bandages without unraveling or dislodging them, turn the blue ring down over the plastic and slide it down, turning it inside out. Worked like a charm, sturdier than expected, and kept my bandages completely dry. Mission accomplished.

This cast cover is well made!
I have a broken foot but the cast is below my knees. This cast cover was perfect it covered up over my knee for taking a shower. No leak whatsoever. Easy to pull on and easy to take off. Heavy duty. I never have to worry about my cast getting wet and can enjoy a nice warm shower.

Works well. Doesn't last. Plan to buy two.
Cast cover itself is great, but doesn't last.I bought this a few weeks before my surgery. It was fantastic for 2 weeks of use with a soft bandage-wrapped splint. Then the doctor put on a fiberglass cast. I noticed small dings at the top of the neoprene. By neoprene, I am referring to the stretchy blue/black section that holds the plastic cover tight to the leg.By 5 weeks after surgery, I had 2 significant tears in the neoprene - see photos..Surprise! There is only a 1 month return window. So I tried to patch the tears with duct tape. That didn’t work. New tears popped up at the edge of the duct tape. It is now 6 weeks after surgery, I have several more tears in the neoprene sealing band.I have two more weeks (hopefully) with this cast. Should I buy a new cover or try to tape it onto my leg??For the record, my leg measures 17.5 inches, which is well within the fit recommendations. Conclusion: the cast cover is great, but if you have a fiberglass cast, you might want to budget for buying more than one cover. It just doesn’t last.
