Camco42654 Retro Class A Party Light

These were a gift for my wife. I really don't like these lights. In fact, I would like to use them as target practice. The important thing is, she likes them. Unfortunately, she likes them so much, I get the honor to install them! She wanted camper lights...for the camper. Great, huh? I am rolling my eyes too.These are plastic and light up when plugged in. This is EXACTLY what I expected when I bought them. Met my expectations! The blue campers to not show up as well though. They could have used a lighter color. I am assuming in time, when the plastic fades (and my hatred for these things grow) they will look better. The rest of the colors are just fine. Note these lights are very lightweight and are very easy to install. They can be installed with something as simple as a pushpin around the wires. They also appear easy to break with a hammer, but I am told I am not allowed to do this.All in all, they are pretty much a good product for the money.Pros:Easy to installEasy to use (plug in)Makes my wife happy.Cons:Blue camper is a little too darkI am not allowed to shoot themI have to install them

Love these little lights! They are cute lit and not lit. Order a strand more than you think if you haven't accounted for sagging the lights. I used klippity clips top hang ours and it worked pretty slick. I left them attached to the lights. The kids really enjoy hanging campsite flare!

Cute little lights! The only thing I see as a negative is that the bulbs are actually white LEDs and not warm white lights. I would have preferred warm white lights, because I have another string of these camper lights (I purchased this because one string wasn't long enough to extend the full length of our awning) that are warm white - it looked weird with one string being warm white lights and the other string being white LEDs. I wish the product description had mentioned that the bulbs are white LEDs and not warm white lights.

Ordered another set of these lights but this time the lights were different. The light inside the little campers were very dim and not bright like the original ones I ordered. The description even says "glow lights" where the original lights did not. I believe they have changed the lights inside the campers. I would have returned right away but was not aware of the issue until we opened the box while camping recently. The new lights are very dim and give off a very dim glow you can hardly see. The original lights were bright and shone beautifully. Very disappointed.

I love these lights. After posting on social media in various pictures of family camping, have rec'd several compliments specifically about these lights. Note: while they do provide some lighting, they are not bright. I purchased approximately 4 strands to surround the area around our camper awning using 2 ordinary clothes pins per section.

We bought these to liven up our camper awning. Before completely unboxing them I dug out the plug and plugged them in. They did not have a warm, soft glow and instead were an awful, harsh blue color. It was that shade of LED blue that your eyes have trouble focusing on. The picture shows them lit up with a nice soft glow but that’s not what is shipping currently. We returned them.

I ordered 2 sets of these lights. They are very cheaply made and neither set light up so they are completely useless. Amazon.com sent replacements and said it need to return the dysfunctional ones within 30days. However I don't live in the US and only order when I'm traveling through the US. Therefore this does not help me at all as we won't be able to get there within 30 days. I would not recommend these.

I have used my lights a dozen times. Taking them in and out of my camper storage compartment and hanging them up and putting them away. None have broken and they continue to illuminate, every bulb. I'm surprised since they were relatively inexpensive. I thought they might not work after a few uses, but they do. They look super cool in the evening and cast just enough light to be able see without being blinded.

I bought these set of lights because my spouse wanted some funky lights for our camper. I knew these were cheap and it was confirmed when I received them. These lights are way over priced. You are paying for the 'OMG, these are so cute' factor and my spouse loved them. They are LED lights so they have a white brightness, however, I would have preferred a warmer white. But they do the job and they look 'so cute' on the camper. If you don't mind paying for something cute that is 3 or 4 times the value, then these are a good choice. Otherwise, there are better patio lights at an affordable price.

I picked my aunt for Kris Kringle this Christmas, and these part lights were on her wish list. Unfortunately, she only had a link for an American trailer parts supply website, and with exchange rate/taxes/shipping, these lights would have been way over the budget. Luckily, I was able to find the exact same lights on Amazon for n even better price and didn't have to worry about exchange/shipping.My aunt recently bought a small classic Airstream camp trailer she's always dreamed of, so she's planning on hanging these lights on her awning to have period correct decor.

I loved the idea of these lights, and it was my mistake reading the reviews and still purchasing. The lights look super cute, but they don't work! We tried different outlets, tried switching out each bulb, and tried the extra fuse it came with and no go. I was really excited for these in our new camper, but guess I will have to keep looking.

They are great lights but the bulb is not bright enough for the plastic material the peppers & cactus are made of. They are pretty nice but really has to be dark for them to be noticed.

A great novelty light set for family campers who are tricky to buy for. I know they will absolutely love this.
