Some Many Birds Now
I have had this bird house for about 3 years. Every year, we have a family nesting in it. The chicks are so adorable. It also attracts the brids that eat all those pesky bugs! Not to mention that this bird house is beautiful and looks great in the yard. Highly recomended for the price!

Well constructed
This bird house is very well constructed and I especially like the trap door on the side so I can easily clean the house and possible check on occupants! A nice touch would be to have a second mounting point, as my house as canted slightly with the comings and goings of the current family. I guess if they don't care if the house is slightly sideways why should I? Nice materials and finish to the house.

Small but cute
House is very small but cute. I installed it on Saturday and was delighted to see wrens moving in on Sunday> I sguess I got it up just in the nick of time.

A little small.
I did the below review several days ago, I'm editing it and lowering the rating I gave it. While working on it I sliced my finger pretty good on the exposed, SHARP, dangerous edges of the copper roof. I removed the roof entirely, figured the birds could cut themselves too. This just arrived. Another reviewer commented on the size saying they looked like they were for a dwarf species of Wren. I don't know that they are that small, but they are small. I measured the dimensions and compared them to the recommendation for a wren bird house. Generally the out side dimensions appear to match the dimensions on the chart, but the chart is referring to inside dimensions. The item is "Designed in Holland, made in China", maybe it reflects a communications problem with the manufacturer. If I known it was made in China, I made well have not bought it on general principles. It's construction is middle of the road, neither good or having much to complain about. Here are the dimensions as measured by me and recommended by the chart:. . . . . . . . . . Actual . . . . . . . . . . . . . RecommendedFloor Size . . . . . 2 7/8" x 2 7/8". . . . . . . . . 4" x 4"Box Height . . . . . 6 3/4" (including roof space). . 6 to 8"Entrance Above Floor 3 1/2" . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4 to 6"Entrance Hole. . . . 15/16" . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 to 1 1/2"As you can see it runs under recommendations on all dimensions. Be your own judge before you buy it. Personally, I'll what until spring and see how the birds judge them.

Do Not Purchase!
Very disappointed in this birdhouse. The pieces are glued together - and not in a neat manner. The wood pieces are very rough, including the entrance to the birdhouse. At this price point I would have expected some craftsmanship. Read the fine print-designed in Holland and manufactured in China.

Mr.
I was very happy with the service I received as well as the quality itself of the bird houses as I bought two to qualify for free shipping. I have yet to hang these up as I need a couple hangers (hooks) to fasten them to the brick walls of our house. The future inhabitants of these bird houses will think they are living at the Waldorf-Astoria. The hinged door opening on the side of these makes them very nice for future clean out. I purchased this at Amazon as I constantly find the majority of items I buy from Amazon. The quality and service I receive as well as pricing is outstanding at Amazon. I have more future tennants "flocking to our yard" in quest of low cost "housing"!

Most reviews of this seem to be very good. Maybe mine was just a lemon
Most reviews of this seem to be very good. Maybe mine was just a lemon. It lasted 5 months outside...Just found it on the ground, the bottom had fallen apart and the side joints were starting to split apart. Also didn't realize there was a nest in it until finding it broken open. Bummer.
