This book is specifically geared to the NY State English Language Arts test (as the title states). We only used the Multiple Choice Question section as the other 2 sections, Listening and Reading & Writing, are different from we use in our state.

This is a very good book to prepare for the ELA state test for new york. I was impressed with the tips to student and parents/teachers and it seems to put the kid in the same conditions at the test.

Did not like the answers written directly after questions.....poor book. Would not buy again

I like Barron's products
Check the copyright -2007! That's a big red flag. When shopping for test-prep materials, you want to purchase the most recent publications possible. This book is so outdated that it includes a listening section. New York State discontinued this part of the test years ago.I like Barron's products, but this one is outdated.
