Great quality!

The contents are as they should be but good grief it is a struggle to open! Okay, I'm older than dirt but even using a jar opener with no luck I had to grab a box cutter to remove the label - being super careful not to puncture the plastic bottle (which seems to be of good quality). I made a few light passes with the blade (going from bottom of label to top), then had a feel for how much pressure to use for the next cuts. Success!

This is my first time trying sunflower oil and I'm not cooking with it, I'm using it on my skin. It's a very "dry" oil, soaking into the skin quickly and not leaving a greasy feel. My dry/sensitive skin stays soft for at least 24 hours. Either way this is working as well as my favorite body lotion and much cheaper and free of preservatives, fragrances, binders etc which can be irritating to your skin. It's supposed to be high in oleic acid which is good for you. It has a unique pour spout and I love that the bottle is recyclable and BPA-free. The only thing I don't like is that the spout is spring loaded so that I have to use two hands and a little pressure to replace the cap and it's one of those caps that don't ever come to a full stop--you turn until moderately tight and stop, or if you keep turning it will once again be loose, if that makes sense... Certainly not a big deal, but I think it's an attractive bottle, appearing like a wine bottle and very simplistic label with the pretty sunflower on it. I often reuse bottles to store extra DIY beauty, cleaning, pest control etc products that I make in bulk and pour into smaller dispenser bottles as needed. The pour spout on this one will be great for refilling smaller bottles drip free :)

Great product. We love the way our fried food tastes. Oil is fantastic and great quality.

This oil is quite good, and the flavor is just right for refined sunflower oil. The only downside is the price, but there is little that can be done about this given what the market has been like lately.

I've learned that a new type of essential fatty acid was discovered called C15 which is highly involved in preventing insulin resistance. It's typically found in dairy, highest concentration is in grass fed butter, but it's also very in high concentrations of high oleic sunflower oil. Has to be high oleic, regular sunflower oil doesn't have any and goes rancid easily. Hi oleic oils like olive oil are naturally preserved and have a better shelf life.So instead of spending money on a supplement, I got a gallon of this oil which I have mixed 50/50 into a large bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Sam's. I have felt better, have seen an immediate decrease in my blood pressure which I'm starting to think was triggered by high blood sugar due to insulin resistance.My skin feels better, scalp feels better, and I seem to be having less glucose spikes. It's not just this oil though, I've greatly reduced the amount of carbs I eat. Trying to get most my calories from fat and protein and maybe 10-20% from carbs that are in the vegetables and beans I eat.I strongly recommend educating yourself on C15, can be life changing.

It works well and doesn't smell. I put essential oils in the oil and put on my skin...by skin absorbs it quickly.

Purchased this sunflower oil for soap making. It is sold for a competitive price and is a good quality oil.
