Also I have to put separator between big toe and second . I stopped even go to swim pool and stop put on any nail polish on my toes because I don't want draw attention on my feet . And of cause doctor recommend operation that will cost thousands $$$$ and long complicated recovery . Though I did research and in my case I could slow down deformation of my foot or even stop this process with proper care include right shoes LIKE THIS , found that People with the same problem need operation IF it complete painful to walk or impossible which is NOT my case .I accidentally found this item and was not sure to buy because of some negative reviews . Thank some lady s review here and she is right . This shoes could considered like orthopedic shoes . And here on Amazon offer twice cheaper than the same item on eBay .In my case I solved two problems at once 1. This shoes keep my second hummer toe straight , so I no need everyday wrap two toes together and I can use this shoes in swim pool or beach without be embarrass 2. I no need separator between big toe and second , because of design this shoes .Words can't describe how I am happy and Feel NORMAL and so excited to polish my toe nails again .I love to wear this shoes inside and outside . Also I bought one more the same pair shoes , black color ( I wish they have other color in stock ) in case if my size will gone .My size 7,5 medium , I bought 7-8 , and fit perfect . About strips , yes they need to be 1 inch longer at least . I had to made them longer with Velcro , but it's so minor issue compere with so many benefits of this shoes so I don't mindUpdates: still love it. Would like to buy more , ANY color but my size gone

Bad if your index toe is longer than your big toe
The area in which it was too small was the toe area. In particular the split between the toes is not set far enough back, so my index toe is compressed against the front of the shoe. I suspect that if my big toe were the longer of the two this would not be such a problem. Also, the shape of the front of my foot generally didn't seem to fit the shape of the sole very well with the widest part of my foot definitely behind the widest part of the sole. My heel was in the right place. Going a size larger might have solved these problems.

Great for my Achilles' Tendon issues
I really like this shoe, and am always attracting interest when I wear them. I have recently developed issues with my Achilles tendons on both feet. The bursa underlying the tendon has become swollen and the whole area is very painful. I have a very high arch and a long narrow foot, I wear a 10 1/2 AA so needless to say I rarely find anything off a rack in a shoe store. These are perfect because they fit my narrow foot and there is a gel padding on the heel that touches the aforementioned tendons. I actually had to take them to a shoe shop and have a bit of elastic added to the strap going over the foot which is fastened with velcro. That is the only change I could see needed is if the strap going over the top of the foot were a bit longer.

I used Customer Reviews, and am very satisfied!
I grew up having jelly shoes, and while they were the in thing at the time, like many Crocs, they were sweaty and blister-causing. Though I am flat-footed, I wanted a cool enough sandal that still could look dressy and sleek, and I have worn barefooted shoes before. I had owned a pair of Merrell leather slip-on ballet flats, and they were terribly uncomfortable--and expensive! I looked over the customer reviews, ordered a size larger (with the grey/crimson coloring), and they are not only comfortable, but fantastic looking! They make your legs look slender, I haven't had any blistering, and I can wear them both casually and a bit more dressed up. I feel like Athena when I walk in them! The company shipped the order ASAP, and it arrived sooner than planned. Couldn't be happier!

Heel strap too tight--might break in well eventually, but not without some blisters in the meantime
The sole fit well, but the heel strap is too tight. The velcro fastening doesn't allow much variation on how tightly or loosely you can adjust it. The result is that the toe divider is crammed farther between the toes than is comfortable, and rubs against the bones, creating blisters. For context, I do also wear flip flops--not one of those who can't stand anything between my toes--but this is painful. I had really high hopes for these working out well, since the area I like running that is closest to home has a lot of blackberry thorns and gravel which makes it unsuitable for my bare feet, at this point.

Ankle strap too short (velcro not long enough) for my size shoe which fits.
I ordered a 7.5 woman's pair of sandals (Vibrobarefoot Achilles)early this spring. Did not put them on until warmers weather a few weeks ago. Guess what. The strap was not made long enough (my foot fits this shoe and is does not stick out the back of the shoe). Because it is not long enough it appears, there is not matching piece for the velcro to stick. Any suggestions? They will not stay on. I have put the strap over and under my foot.

No more blisters on my Achilles tendons
I used to run in Vibrams, which I love, but the tab on the back of the shoes rub on my Achilles tendons, leaving bruises and blisters. These are thinner, lighter and don't rub. They are made of plastic, so you can just rinse them off. I wear the 5 toed socks with them and they are very comfortable (to me). Just a note; if you have worn shoes with arch supports most of your life, it will take a VERY long time for your feet to adjust. DON'T RUSH IT. It took a couple of years for my feet to fully adjust. I have replaced all of my shoes so that none of them have arch supports or a heel of any kind. My arches have never been higher, or stronger...just as nature intended.

They were comfortable enough, protected my feet and didn’t hurt
Wearable for the whole day in all (wet or dry) environments. I put them through the ringer in Xcaret park in Cancun, on a wet day, going in and out of water. Sleek enough to wear with a dreas for an evening show or as my rubber shoes when doing ocean walking and playing with manta rays. They were comfortable enough, protected my feet and didn’t hurt. I did stick some grippy heel and toe support for running, as I step heavy and there is not enough cussion in the shoe. Did not give me blisters at all. Perfect out of the bag.
