Tonzom 20 inches (50cm) Wood Bars Canvas Stretcher with Thumb Tacks for Oil Painting and Paint by Numbers (2 Strips)

Bought this to frame a 16x20 paint-by-number canvas. Had no problems putting it together. The joints are tight, but that is by design. I could see, though, that if a piece is not cut precisely it might not fit with the others. But the kit I received worked perfectly and cost half as much as other similar kits found on Amazon. The more expensive ones may be more solid. Possibly. But I got the canvas stretched and stapled evenly on the frame without resorting to any tools other than a heavy duty staple gun. As long as the price stays low, I would buy this again.

It broke while trying to stretch the canvas. Requested a refund. Sent it back two weeks ago, still no refund....

Takes a while to get together but be patient and gently. My canvas looks good on it and the price is reasonable.

wood does splinter and and is not sturdy until you tack the picture on. Then it works great. Guess for more sturdiness you could glue them together. Works for me without glue and I like that they are so easy to put together. would buy them again.

It was perfect for my needs. I have a paint numbers canvas that fits perfectly. Easy to put together. I would have given 5 stars but there were not nearly enough thumb tacks to secure the canvas.

Aside from shipping time, I’m relatively satisfied with the frame. The slits were snug fitting and required gentle forcing together but once the pieces were connected, they stayed connected. The frame comes with ample flat-headed pushpins to mount a canvas but I’d already planned on using a staple gun. Aside from one frame bar, the staples went in as expected; the wood is sturdy. For whatever reason staples wouldn’t go thoroughly into one of the bars so I resorted to hammering them flush with the frame.I bought the frame to mount two separate paint-by-number canvases. I had begun painting one while waiting for the frames to arrive and found that canvas more difficult to install since it was trickier to line up the edges/corners. The second unpainted canvas, I marked the backside where the corners and mid-length were; and found it much easier to lining the canvas to the frame properly.The TWO frames cost the same as bundling ONE frame with the original paint-by-number canvas would have. I am satisfied with the quality considering it is for a hobby/home-decor project. If I were a serious artist looking to cost-effectively mount my work, I would look for a more professional option though.

These are amazing frames. It’s my second time ordering and they made it faster than expected. They are perfect for those paint by numbers paintings that I got. Stretching the canvas over them is actually easy and nothing breaks if done right. Im giving them 5 stars.And yes they are half the price that you’d fine anywhere else.

This is simply a bad product. One tack actually broke while I was pushing it with my thumb and nearly punctured my finger. It doesn’t work well to stretch a canvas either. Look for an alternative.

Ok so I’m cross. The frame arrived with no instructions and no tacks to fasten the canvas to the frame.When I contacted the seller, they replied within 10 minutes, and advised me to look in you tube for instructions.That I can live with.They said they don’t give you tacks or pins, and they are not mentioned in the listing.What a complete waste of time and moneyIt is useless without tacks or some kind of nail to attach the canvas.What a complete waste of money and a big con !

Great for Painting by Numbers canvases. Comes from China (by mule it seems) much easier and quicker to buy at a local Art shop. One of the few times when buying on the internet is much much slower.

Great but took too long to get here! I assume from China! Ordered a 2nd one so that's a good advert! Easy to assemble

This Frame was for a painting, I had bought for my granddaughter, it was a bit difficult to put together, but it was of quit good quality, and not to flimsy.

Sturdy frame that stays solid once constructed. Correct size and easy to attach canvas to using a staple gun. Delivery was quick too. Have ordered a couple more for my next pieces.
