This is a beautiful item. One thing I recommend is not submerging totally in water.....this will make it last longer and prevent it from molding. I have had mine for 6 mths now, and it still smells fresh like I just got it. I took a glass cooking dish, added some glass/crystal rocks spread amongst the bottom with a little spot in the middle for the roots to touch the bottom and get to the water, while the rest of the plant is supported above the water by the stones. It will still open, and it will stay fresh longer without the bad smell from the mold it will collect over a period of time. When I spot the first sign of mold, I immediately take it out of the water and let die for a while until the mold dies too. People mention submerging in alot of water, but only do at YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!Overall, I can sense the shift of energy in my home from this plant. Do your homework to get the most out of this, and it may change your life, and household for the better!!!! Just remember to treat it with respect!!!!!

I still have it after 3 years

Many believe it:•“resurrects” areas of your life•brings good fortune•protects you from negative energy or situationsIt came in a timely order and no need for assembly. Packaged well(thank you) Only thing you should prepare for is a nice shallow dish to keep it in since you don't need so much water. Plus, it wouldn't hurt having a tiny water spray bottle to keep it from drying out in the ends. It's a must have if you're alter is in need of fresh energy. Or, if you simply love plants!

The Rose Of Jericho did not open like it was supposed to to. It only had a couple of fronds turn slightly green. Now it is moldy. I followed the instructions exactly. I had a couple some ywars ago that liiked like the pictures you used. I ordered two plants and neither turned green like they were supposed to. Both only has a couple of slightly green fronds. I am really disappointed with this orders....

This is a pretty cool thing. No matter how much I forget to water it, it will close all the way up then re-open when I fill the bowl with water. So, it fills it's purpose. However, it's likely half the size as when they sent it because it got crushed up and has lost much of it's 'leaves'. Every time it dies, I have to sweep new little shavings up. I considered returning it, but ultimately, even after missing some of it's leaves, it resurrects, and isn't that the point of why I got it? To represent my death and rebirth, and the beauty in all of us, even when we're broken. May we all rebuild. Anyway, it fits my life purpose and so even though I wish it was the size it was when I got it, I'm sure it is as it's meant to be. Some of the leaves must fall away to lend strength to the rest. So mote it be.

Not a very fresh specimen. After placed in water to cover half way it opened in one day and started turning green. Now ten days have passed and its still 60 percent brown. Previous resurrection plants I've had turned almost fully green. Children in my Sunday school class enjoy watching the specimen open almost before their eyes. In one aspect the plant is a success. Value of the item is outstanding though.

My plant arrived, I put it water with river rocks and within a day, it opened up. It's a beautiful bright, Robust and full, lively evergreen color. I use a spray bottle to keep the ends from drying up. Great purchase. I am very pleased. I plan to use the water on Tuesday for the following purposes:Sprinkle the Magic Water of the Rose of Jericho on my Doorstep to invite all blessings.Toss it on my Door to enhance protectionAdd it to my Floor Wash or Sprinkle it on my premises to bless my finances and make more moneyUse it as “Holy Water” to repel malevolent entities and reverse bad luck
