Peet's Coffee, Dark Roast Ground Coffee - Decaf Major Dickason's Blend 10.5 Ounce Bag

I usually get medium roast coffee, but thought I'd try dark roast decaf. This is a good, robust coffee, has a great flavor, and is great for when I want afternoon coffee. It is also processed with water, which is definitely healthier, and the price is still good. Definitely a good coffee to get if you want a great decaf.

The water processed decaf coffee is very good. We tried it in a single serving coffee maker and a 2-6 cup percolator. The single serving coffee maker made a nice cup of coffee. It was fast and pretty good. The percolator heats the water to an extremely high temperature to make the coffee. It makes a very hot and smooth cup of Joe. Recommended.

This is one of the best decaffeinated coffees that can be purchased easily. Caffeine does bother my sleep, so I drink a lot of decaffeinated coffee. I do prefer the Swiss water decaffeination process. However, it is hard to find a robust decaffeinated coffee with this more pure process of decaffeination. I love this coffee. It is robust, and flavorful without being bitter. I am telling all my family and friends about it.

My doctor told me I shouldn’t drink coffee when starting my new Rx (my go to is Bustelo). I LOVE Coffee! I drank herbal tea for three days, it was NOT working for me. My daughter suggested decaf, which I never cared for. I decided to check Amazon and came across Peet’s, which I drink when we visit New Orleans. Let me tell you, I can’t even tell the difference without the caffeine! If you love coffee like I do, but can’t do the caffeine, TRY THIS!! You will not be disappointed! I purchased the Dark Roast Ground Coffee Decaf Major Dickason's Blend 10.5 oz Bag for $10.82. It seemed a bit pricey for a small bag, but the taste is worth it! It’s smooth and not bitter. It smells so good and has so much flavor. When I crave a snack, I add a dash or 2 of cinnamon and cardamom spices to the coffee grounds before brewing and it’s a delicious treat.

Decent quality organic decaffeinated coffee. I like the fact that it uses the Swiss water process to achieve the decaffeination. The taste of the coffee is watery and not the same strong flavor I’ve had before in other decaffeinated brands. Would have rated it higher if it wasn’t for that.

I bought this so I would stop spending so much on my daily iced decaf coffee. I used 8 tbsp in a French coffee press with 12 oz hot water. Sat for 4 min then pressed it and poured over ice. Added about 10 more oz of water. Then some flavored creamer, oat milk and vanilla syrup. I used all sugar free/low fat versions. 120 cals for 30 or so ounces of yummy iced coffee. The flavor is so rich and creamy I am sipping on it and treasuring every moment. I look forward to saving money!

If anyone develops a sensitivity to caffeine like I did, this coffee is a great replacement, it is flavorful, and it is priced nice. I am so happy I found a coffee to still enjoy in a decaffeinated blend.
