This screen did the job for about 2 summers for bug/mosquito season in the northeast region. Then it’s time to purchase another. The double sticky tape didn’t last a month. I had to tack mine to the frame.

Used as easy pass thru from kitchen to patio for dogs. They got the hang of it right away.Choosing size correctly important. You need a width of at least two inches greater than the opening you intend to fillI used my own double sided tape rather than included velcro to install to door frame.Most time consuming aspect is modifying length. I was reluctant to cut off the bottom two and one half inches or so, so ended up folding the extra length upwards so as not to drag on floor. At first tried double sided tape to secure, but didn't work well. Ended up sewing excess up to curtain with interrupted stitches--probably thirty or so all together. Not hard but time consuming. However curtain bottom now flush with floor, opens and closes well, looks decent.Highly recommended

First, a note about installation. I installed this unit to metal and plastic as opposed to wood, so I used the sticky velcro strips. Make sure you follow the instructions to clean the area well, including with alcohol to remove any grease that ANY sticky product would have problems with. After that, installation was a snap and it went quickly. What a difference!! The sliding screen door this replaced is now in the trash. With 2 kids, 2 cats and a dog in and out all day long, this is a MUST HAVE. Here in South Carolina where we have mosquitoes the size of birds, this finally keeps them all out along with moths, fruit flies, regular flies, and even the frogs that occasionally try and escape a downpour here and there. So far, it's held up very well. Very happy with this purchase especially considering the large amount of other products on the market that are more expensive.

Thi screen door works really well. Especially for the price and ease of use. We tried some pretty fancy hard framed screen doors and they never fit quite right. They are expensive and clunky. But these doors fit nicely and are easy to adjust and use. The only draw back is that the tacks that come with them are not the studies things in the world. The head break off easily. I used good quality samples to give the door the structure it needs not to droop or tear.

How well the screen works is dependent on how well you install. We use it off our bedroom so the dog can go in and out during the summer months without bugs coming inside. I like that is automatically snaps shut after he enters or exits by the magnets reattaching. Very easy to put up, just be sure of the size.

The description does NOT match this product! This is NOT "heavy duty mesh"!! I have ordered these type of screen doors each summer for over 20 years. . .The most durable ones I've had in the past (spring tension rod installation) have become so overpriced I have been avoiding them for the last 5 years because I found that the Velcro around the perimeter is a much better design but ultimately none will last longer than one season for our daily activity with a large family and 2 dogs. I could not find the same one I ended up with after 4 tries last year but this one was definitely a total waste of money as were 2 others last year that tore right away and the 2 others I got, saw they were inferior and sent back.. . .I ordered this one and paid more for it hoping it was going to be better quality but made the mistake of putting it up with a hope and a prayer thinking maybe it would last. . .it was put up on one day and two days later had a hole big enough for bugs to get through. I wish someone could design one of these doors with the Velcro attachment style (rather than the aggravating tension rod that falls down all the time) with the REAL heavy duty screen material that is available on the other brand. I don't think anyone wants to pay $20-$30 for less than a weeks worth of use. My suggestion if you're considering this. . keep looking for another brand and don't waste your money or time on this very inferior product.

I really like this screen. This is my second screen. I have two spoiled dogs and they tear thru the screen at full run. Screen can't take the inpact though. Now if I can just get the dogs to slow down and svae the screen. The last one lasted two years. Not bad?

This was super easy to install and works very well. My only issue isn't so much the product but my door, haha. It is set into a frame so the screen isn't flush in some areas due to the inset. If my door frame was better suited for this.
