Love this Pillow!
This pillow is better than anticipated. Unfortunately for both me and my boyfriend- I snore. Recently I came down with a really nasty chest cold and was only able to breath properly at night when propped up on my on my armed lounge pillow. Amazingly, we also discovered that being propped up like that had the wonderful side effect of quelling my snoring (which even a specially made anti-snoring mouth guard from the dentist couldn't fix). The lounge pillow worked for awhile but I was unable to sleep on my side with it and I would wake up with my head on the mattress after having slid down the the pillow through the night. After some research- I found this wedge pillow and thought it seemed like the best option for the price and comfort level. I'm so happy I made that purchase! Out of the shipping box it came totally rolled up into a long tube shape with tape and plastic wrap . I was a little disappointed to find that the paper it came with said to let it re-shape and air out the foam smell for 48hrs before I could use the thing. However, I'm glad that I did. The smell went away and the shape firmed up. It's a rather large pillow, but doesn't take up more than the amount of space a normal pillow would use width-wise. There is some sliding down the pillow while asleep, but I always wake up still on the pillow and I have a headboard on my my bed so I never have issues with it sliding off my mattress. I have a cooling gel and memory foam pillow that I put on top of the wedge which keeps my neck from hurting. I don't have any issues with the wedge flattening out when I lay on it. It's really solid and the memory foam on top is a nice touch of comfort. The removable pillow case around the wedge is nice and soft, but I know you can buy another type of case if you don't like the feel of the one it comes with.I just can't say enough nice things about this pillow. Snoring is a big issue for me I'm really happy that I was able to find something so simple to help me. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a wedge pillow for any reason.

Perfect wedge and pillow
Bought this when I was Pregnant. The only way I could sleep comfortably. Took me probably a year to sleep without it. Now I am back to using it. Love it

Worked great after surgery, just a bit warm
I purchased two of these wedge pillows - both the 7" and 12" height - in preparation for having my tonsils out. I was supposed to sleep at a 45 degree angle for 2 weeks afterwards to avoid bleeding.I first purchased the 12" height (to get the correct angle), but after reading the reviews about being "too high", I also purchased this 7" version. Let me tell you, I'm glad that I purchased both. Both were made by the same company with the same nice, white, comfy, stretchy cover. I liked the memory foam. I used my normal pillow on top of the wedge.I liked the 12" height for the nights when I needed extra elevation - when my head, ears and throat were throbbing with pain. Keeping my head elevated that much farther above my heart helped the situation.I liked the 7" height for nights when I didn't have that much of a problem, I just needed some elevation to keep my heart lower than my throat to avoid any excessive bleeding.Yeah, I slid down during the nights - not a fault of the pillow - I would just wake up and scoot myself back up so my butt was close to the beginning of the wedge.I am a side sleeper to boot (I had a rough time with all of this) - side is the only real way I can sleep, and I previously had obstructive sleep apnea - the reason for removing my tonsils to begin with - and I had a fear of sleeping on my back because I would wake up gasping for air within minutes after falling asleep. Not fun. So, I was able to arrange myself somewhat comfortably for side sleeping on BOTH heights of this pillow. Once again, I had my normal pillow on top of the wedge pillow as well. The only thing I didn't like is that memory foam seems to hold heat. I have a normal (non memory foam) mattress, and I would wake up throughout the night with temperature issues - thinking I was too hot I would kick off the comforter, only seconds later to pull it back over my legs. The warmth coming from the wedge was pretty noticeable to me, but not enough of a bother to wish I didn't purchase these wedges. (I'm not overweight, and I'm usually cold, but I was still surprised by the heat I felt).Overall these pillows were much more comfortable than I had expected, they worked great for my purposes, and they appear to be well made and something I'll hang onto for a long time in case I need them in the future. I would purchase this same pillow for a family member or friend if they needed the elevation at night.

Perfect Solution
This pillow works perfectly for my situation. I always slept on my left side (best for chronic heartburn). But my hip and neck sometimes hurt and I finally decided to try a wedge pillow. This one is perfect. It puts me at enough of an angle to handle the heartburn and I no longer wake up with a stiff neck or sore hip.I am short and lay with my waist at the base of the pillow. So my head is not at 12" high. But the incline seems to be just right. The included headrest pillow is exactly the right thickness. I tried other pillows but the headrest that comes with this wedge is best.I also bought the pillowcase (in navy) and it works great. I wish it would have included a case for the headrest pillow as well. But I can sew, so I made one.Per other reviews:* I had no problems with it re-inflating. I followed the instructions exactly, left it for as long as they said, and it filled out perfectly.* I do not have much issue with sliding down. Occasionally I will wake up lower on the pillow. But that is not often. And I am never too far down, so I still get great sleep. This was true before I bought the pillowcase (using the bamboo case that comes with the original pillow) and after.* The pillowcase fit just right. (Wish it came in more colors. But I can sew, so I suppose I will eventually make just what I want.)I would recommend this pillow.
