I bought this to use for when I'm in my yard with my animals and can't hear the front door bell. I loved the fact it was a solar powered one so i didn't have to ever worry about batteries..×UPDATE×The company saw my post and contacted me to apologize for the condition of the bell and asked if they could replace the old with a new one at no cost. The customer service i recieved will now guaranty that i will buy more products from this company.! ThanksThe shipping was fast, but when i opened the box i could tell right away i wasn't the first. After pulling the bell box out i noticed it has allot of gouges in the plastic between the button and the solar cell. As well as dirt and small dings on the plug in ring box. I took pictures of both, however it's a little hard to see in them, but glaringly obvious in person. I plugged the sound box in and pushed the button and it seems to work just fine. I just hope there is no issue with the solar cell. I'll have to wait probably a couple weeks to see if it will continue to charge.I really don't want to have to deal with returning it since I'm disabled and it's hard to get out of the house. I'm disappointed they sent an obvious "used" item when i paid full price for a "new" item. Hence the 3 star review.

Easy stick up solar door bell. Read the manual to change the sound, otherwise you are going through a ton of different choices and may end up not saving it correctly. Issue we have is it sometimes gets stuck and will then constantly ring. Not a big deal when we are home since we have to get the door anyways. A quick tap to unstick the button and it's back to normal. The spring gets pushed unevenly and will jam itself down. So for $10 it's a decent doorbell that does its job, let you know if someone hits the button. For that reason 3 stars. If we arent home to unstick the button, it will just be making noise until we get back. Animals may not like that.

I had previously owned two 'remote' bells that had battery outdoor switches. operated. The outdoor part didn't last due to weather-related battery corrosion. This solar powered ringer should do the trick. Winter is starting so we shall see. The only problem I am having is trying to get the bell off of the default music. It's not the directions. I think my fingers are too big to press the right button long enough to have my selected tone set. But I will persevere!

This was easy to install, and fit right onto the screw holes for my old door bell. The only issue I have with it is that the button sticks sometimes, so the door bell will keep chiming until I go out and unstick it. I'd feel bad for my dogs if that happened while we were gone.

Amazing. My solar doorbell doesn’t get direct sunlight but works great! I’m guessing the distance between my gate and doorstep would be 100-120 feet... I plugged the chime near the doorstep and it picks up strong and loud. There’s volume control and lots of chimes to choose from. Some chimes sound like Chinese but that’s okay. Lots of traditional chimes, American jingles, including holiday songs.

I love this door bell! Easy to install is an understatement! Less than 5 minutes! Many rings to choose from. After putting it outside in the sun, I then tried ringing it after awhile and WHAM it works! Just plug in the chimer, stick up doorbell out in the sun and you have got it! The price is too right!

The doorbell portion was easy to install outside using the foam double-faced tape, which was included. It also comes with hardware and a screwdriver (when's the last time you got an installation tool other than an allen wrench with a product?) if you prefer to fix it fast to your door frame. The receiving unit is easily programmable with a wide variety of tunes (including Happy Birthday and holiday music) and simply plugs into a wall outlet. Couldn't be easier. We're very pleased with our purchase.

Incredibly easy to install.Not having to install batteries was a major Or Lu's for me.I put the button on the door frame with the 2-sided tape, plugged the ringer in. Good to go. The Solar Battery had enough power for me to check it the various rings .Awesome Value
