As described, nice big size for kiddos hands
Pretty simple product, the awesome version.These sticks are colorful, smooth to the touch, and substantial.I appreciate that it comes with a sliding top wooden case for storage. I’m a big fan of this brand. Their puzzles are terrific!I appreciate the quality of their products, for such reasonable prices.I included a writing pen on top of the sticks, in one of the photos, for scale.

What fond memories!
My six year old godson loved this game when he came to visit, so I ordered him his own. Not just a game, but an educational form of stimulation that promotes eye/hand coordination, color identification, texture/symmetry identification, just a plethora of bonuses in addition to individual or family enjoyment!

I wondered why pick up sticks were almost $10. They are huge and thick and come in a great wooden box...not the sticks I grew up with... I'm not sure if I like them more than the older version I grew up with or not yet...but they are sturdy

Cheaper than Knitting Needles
Ours measured at a US size 8 and are smooth enough not to catch the yarn. We bought these to teach a group how to knit. Now we can also teach knitting in the round since they're double pointed.

These are an excellent gift for any child! I'm a mother of 4 and my kids ages 3-9 all love this game to play together!

Great on carpet
They are the perfect size and color. The shape is a little different from what I remember from my youth. The clear coating takes away from the playability. They slide to easily making it unplayable unless you play on carpet. The wood makes the sticks to stiff. There is no give like there would be if made from plastic. When trying to setup the game, they bounce around like drumsticks even from 4in of the table. Good for playing on carpet or outside. Bad for tables and hard surfaces.
