We were going to use these as the socks for a Founding Father's costume for a heavy, short 13 year old. There is just no way they would fit an adult man unless he had very thin legs and was not much taller than 5'5". They were almost too short for the youth. The socks do stretch but not enough to fit a youth with heavy legs.The material is white-white and fairly thin, but this was expected so we did not take stars off for that.Took off 2 stars because of the too-small fit.

A little large but fut the bill. The heel was at the back of the ankle- a little saggy but stayed up & we won best dressed at the NYE masquerade.

These were the perfect socks to finish off my Venetian costume that I wore to our office's masquerade holiday party. I was very pleased with the product and the price.

They look fine. They are not as thick as regular socks so you should only wear them as needed. They are not thin like stockings though. The distance from the heel to the top is 19". I am 5'8" and they cover mid knee

The socks were great, except for being a bit too long. The socks were many inches above my knees, and I am 5'4". Unfortunately we had to return these due to the length. Perhaps good on a taller person...
