Easy install
Installed effortlessly. Scribed centerline of index hole before removing 24 tooth reluctor wheel on crank. Scribed a matching line on 58x wheel. Heated old wheel to 250 degrees and tapped off with very small hammer. Put crank in freezer for a couple hours. Placed frozen crank in vertical jig and preheated new reluctor to 450 degrees. Dropped new reluctor onto crankshaft and had easily 20 seconds to position perfectly without tool. Allowed to cool. Tool absolutely would be needed if there was no prior wheel.

If putting an engine in a different year vehicle, check the reluctor wheel tooth count first.
This wheel fit perfectly with out a hitch and runs perfectly. The problem was I didn’t even know what this part was and that they use different tooth counts for different years. Live and learn. Hard lesson to have to take a completely built and installed engine back out and tear it down to the crankshaft completely coming out and changing thi wheel and reinstalling

Converted my gen 3 crankshaft to fit my gen 4 engine
58x reluctor wheel for gm. This normally also requires a 4x cam gear and is ran in gen r engines.(normally...). It's a well made piece, but you might want to inspect for burrs and clean them up.
