I have used (bought 8 times) another brand of third-party Canon replacements, which worked fine. But when I went to reorder recently, I found the price had more than doubled. So I looked for a replacement, and found this one. I bought two as a trial, and the first one has worked perfectly. Good, dark printing with not leaking or staining problems.

Got the new toner, opened the package and installed it. Cycled the power on the printer and off we went. What a difference! We had been evaluating if it was worth it to get a new cartridge (this is at least a 20 year old printer) or swap this one for an ink jet printer that was sitting on the shelf. two cartridges for such a good price, and the printer works like new. The ink jet was given to a young student who needed a printer. I now the Canon cartridge printed a lot of pages, so I suspect this one will too.
