Genuine Subaru 2014-2018 Forester Sunshade - SOA3992022

I have a Forester with EyeSight and bought this because I knew it would fit. The shade seems to be made well and I like that it came with a storage bag. The reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is that it leaves a fairly large gap around the rearview mirror and cameras. It still appears it will work well for it's intended purpose, it's just not as form fitting as I was hoping for. I'm still pleased and can recommend it for other Forester owners who have the EyeSight system - as I doubt there is a better option out there.

Subaru Genuine SOA3991700 Sunshade, 1 Pack Honestly you won't find a higher quality sunshade for any Subaru with Eyesight. It is a hard, foldable board made with quality material and comes with a carrying case. The gap around the Eyesight camera is a bit larger than what I would have wanted, but otherwise it fits nicely. I park my Forester in the sun quite often and this keeps it significantly cooler and protects the entire dashboard.I previously bought a generic rolling shade and it started to wrinkle and fold in within two weeks of use. Since this is a hard board that doesn't have that foil-type reflective material it won't wrinkle or shrink into itself after long exposure to the sun.

I love this shade. It is a perfect fit for my 2017 Forester with eyesight Easy to install just a tad bulky to remove. You might hit your passenger if not careful. The shiny side does get pretty hot so be careful when you remove it. However. The interior and especially the steering wheel is so much more comfortable when the shade is used. I purchased this OEM sunshade for my wife's new Subaru Forester because I wanted to be certain the cut of the sunshade would not interfere with the EyeSight cameras. As a genuine Subaru product, the cut is perfect and does not touch the cameras, but I was disappointed to find that the outward-facing surface is not very reflective. The sunshade still blocks the light, keeping the car cooler and protecting the interior from damaging sun rays, but the sunshade tends to absorb a lot of heat and get extremely hot to the touch rather than reflect the rays away as it should. For the premium price I paid for an OEM product, I was expecting better.

Without a single doubt, this is the nicest sunshade that I have seen, let alone owned. It is not one of those shades that becomes flimsy after a while. It is very rigid and robust. I was hesitant, even looking at other brands and models, and then I decided to buy. It was a great decisionto do so. This shade looks great, it is very well-made, and it comes with a really nice faux leather case. My car has the Eyesite system and itaccommodates that. If you don't have the Eyesite system, there were be a decent gap at the top of your windshield, so check to see if there isone that specifically accommodates yours.You will like it and I cannot recommend it anymore than I do.

This is a nice sunshade and fits my 2017 Subaru Forester perfectly. It makes a difference in the internal temperature of the vehicle when it is parked in the sun. It is rather large and bulky to use all the time, but if I leave my car parked at the house for extended periods of time I will place this in the dash.

Fits very well in my '15 Forester. Materials are high quality, it looks great, and the black soft case it comes with is a nice touch to keep it hidden when not in use. Would definitely recommend!

I triple checked part # to make sure it fits my 2016 Forester XT before ordering. This is the correct part as far as I can tell. The shade as a 12' by 4" gap below the rear view mirror that lets sun through. So, this shade cuts out about 95% of the sun but leaves a laser beam heating up the car.Really?
