This is a direct replacement for the impeller in my pump. My pump now works just like new. These hold up well and last for years if you keep your pump clear of debry. I will buy again should the need arise.

Rebuilt my Mag 12 to new specs with this impeller
My Danner Mag 12 pump runs 24/7 as it’s my main return pump for my saltwater aquarium. It was making a grinding noise but was working normally so I wasn’t very concerned. After disconnecting and opened it up to investigate, I noticed the impeller was broke but still functioning. After a new impeller purchase and a easy swap out I was up and running like new. Nice and silent again!!

A lot cheaper than replacing pump!
When your Danner/Podcaster pump sounds like it's about to come apart, don't trash it! Check the front cover for wear, and replace the impeller. You'll be up and going again for far less than the price of a new pump. I've used Danner Mag-Drive pumps in my saltwater tanks for over a decade, and I've replaced 1 pump, one front cover, and several impellers during that time. If you can turn a philips screwdriver to r&r 6 screws, you can replace your old impeller. Save you money for fish!!!
