We were constantly asked to combine our shatterproof Armourglass crystal with our lightweight carbon fiber reinforced cases. It wasn’t easy since the Armourglass requires a very special fitting. Despite the challenges, we found a way to make it happen and combine the best of both worlds. We proudly introduce the all-new ArmourLite Operator Series watches! For the ultimate protection, the shatterproof Armourglass crystal can withstand up to 6,000 Vickers, whereas most watch crystals can only withstand about 700. Using the same technology as bulletproof glass, we have achieved a crystal that won’t shatter even when one layer is compromised. Long-lasting illumination is made possible by tritium markers by Trigalight. Powering this watch is a reliable Ronda 515 quartz movement. For the underwater explorers, this dive-friendly watch offers a water resistance of 100 meters and a unidirectional ratcheting diver bezel to keep track of elapsed dive time.

If this is water-resistant, I'm the Jewish Pope.
Battery just failed - after only a year - and remember this is a basic watch with no features: no alarm manual date...light via tritium, etc.So, on opening the case, which had never been opened before AND never been close to water...moisture observed IN THE CASE. The sealing system is a joke. Provides no sealing whatsoever. Four Philips screws - poorly machine of soft S2 type steel simply jammed into the plastic case. No actual mounting holes. Once I took the back off, it was obvious why the watch is so heavy - the back weighs as much as the rest of the case. So, substitute mass for quality. Not even as good as a snap-in type with O-Ring. If I had known how poorly made this was (no reason to open case except for the present battery change), I would not have bought it. $300 for a $30 watch - not a bad mark-up. Buy a Casio G-Shock (like I did later) and put this one in the trash (where it is going). Besides that, the cheap tritium tubes are never going to last more than 5 years. So what is the point o wearing or keeping? ZERO!

Watch was great but the......
It broke! It is waterproof, I can see the time at night. The problem is the composit housing, you get it caught on anything and the pins for the bands rip out. Do this a couple times and it's useless. Surely no Navy Seal would wear it! I even drilled the housing and put in Casio Screw pins. It worked great until the watch started not telling time correctly. Waste of $300.....never again. Get a Casio
