Nice Rangefinder with Red Readout
I did a lot of research on rangefinders before I went with the Sig and I’m glad I did.I was looking at this and a Vortex, what I didn’t like about the Vortex was according to others reviews you had to push the button three times to get it to produce a reading. I use this for Bowhunting where seconds matter. Also the Vortex was more to get into the red readout which was the main reason I wanted a new rangefinder. As for this Sig kilo1600, for $250 I don’t think you could find a better rangefinder. It is preset to the most common setting right out of the box. The ranging is super fast and the red readout is very easy to see in any light conditions. It comes with a case, battery and a nice lanyard you can use around your neck so it hangs right where you need it without trying to get it out of your pocket in time. No need to get the BDX if you’re just Bowhunting and shooting at normal ranges.

Compact and comfortable
First saw this on an archery range. I was impressed with the brightness and clarity of the display. Then I took it golfing and now I have to figure out how to get another one for both sports because if I use just the one, I will most likely forget it in the golf bag when I go to shoot my bow, and leave it in my bow case when I go golfing.

Clear red readout, amazingly accurate
I searched all the main stream products, Bushnell, Leupold, Nikon..etc.. I was unaware Sig Sauer made such a quality rangefinder at this price. I encourage everyone to read the reviews on this product. I am totally happy. And it came a-day earlier than expected.

Great value and easy to use.
Using to sight in a scope for long range PCP air rifle. Works perfectly and no need to even read the manual.

Clear & Quick reading
I use this range finder for golf. I went this route because I value the bright OLED display and super quick readings. The scan feature is nice if you are trying to determine a range of objects or landing area in the distance. The only part that I'm still adjusting to is that you need to press and release the targeting button to get an accurate reading. If you hold the button, you will get the initial reading along with the range behind the target. When trying to determine distance to the pin, you don't want to confuse the pin with out of bounds. Finally, this range finder does not vibrate or ping when it locks on the pin like some made for golf. Even so, I'm please with the accuracy, ease of use and bright display. For the money, I'm happy with my choice.

Best for bow hunters
I started researching range finders about 8 months ago. I was looking for 3 things. Angle compensation, red oled read out and had to stay below $300. I first looked at vortex and their good but above $300. Then I looked at sig and they cater more to long range shooters with range finders set up for that. However, the 1600 is very basic and set up for the bow hunter. Out of the box it already set up ready to go. No programming, instructions to try to follow or menus to push through. This range finder is preset from the factory in angle mode compensation. The oled red read out automatically adjusts the brightness according to the ambient light. It has hyper scan mode which allows you to range different targets while moving the range finder at the same instead of ranging one object stopping and then ranging another one. This is by far the best range finder for 3D archery and bow hunting i have found and I have been hunting with a bow since 1989.

Great all around range finder
Very happy with my purchase. The size and weight of the unit are perfect if you are trying to reduce weight in your pack. Fits well in your hand and has a nice sure grip. Unit is very quick to respond. I have only ranged deer size game out to 250 yards but the unit has been flawless. Very easy to track moving game. Overall very satisfied after using during rifle season.

5 year warranty is a joke
The 5 year starts when it is made .Sig even hides that, you have to call them to find out . I’m glad I called, I had a little over 2 years left . This product is brand new from SIG but has been sitting around for 3 years . I’m sure it’s actually fine . But if SIG doesn’t stand behind their product FROM TIME OF PURCHASE why would I trust the product.
