I love the bread box. Good craftsmanship, good materials. Bread tastes even better when stored in it. Definitely recommend it

So I received my breadbox on Sunday. I didn't get a chance to set it out until Tuesday and was very pleased.It was a fine piece of craftsmanship and a long overdue upgrade for my kitchen table. Gone was the clutter of different bread bags replaced by something just lovely to look at. This morning to my dismay I noticed a crack in the wood on the side so I emailed "Cookbook people." They had enclosed a thank you card with the item which encouraged the buyer to get in touch with them personally if there was any problem. So I did. I made sure to include pictures so they would know what the issue was. I was amazed when a 1/2 hour later "Pam" responded, pleasantly acknowledging the damage and reassuring me that all she needed was my address and a new one would be shipped. When I asked about returning the item this was her response. I want to post it exactly as I received it so you can see the kind of people that work at "Cookbook."Pam wrote:"Oh goodness! Kindness like that will surely bless them. This has been the most rewarding experience I have had by far with an Amazon vendor. I want EVERYONE to buy breadboxes right now! If I was rich I would buy a 100 and donate them all on their behalf. These days love and human kindness have been on the short list but acts of charity like this lend that spark and help reignite those qualities in us all. I can tell you, it surely touched and warmed my heart and I've had a warm and fuzzy feeling every since receiving that email.I will be posting pictures of my new breadbox when it is received. And I will be certainly be donating the one I have so someone else can be blessed in a lovely way. And I can tell you now, it is absolutely beautiful and you should not hesitate to purchase one from this wonderful business.Thank you again Pam and all of you at "Cookbook people." Lightweight, beautiful natural color, roomy, & the top graphics are adorable. Outstanding company too!

The rolling door is hard to open and close seems cheaply made hope it doesn't break on me.

Not happy with the storage capacity, would have returned, but I threw the box out that it was shipped in. I could only fit one one loaf and a half inside. Craftsmanship is great

Not bad.. I expected a bit better quality .. does the job though
