I have 18 of these hangers and they are awesome! They are very strong and hold large hanging baskets. I have 6 attached to our house and the rest we attached to posts we cemented in the ground. Love these! Use a drill to attach, not the little screw driver the package comes with. The screws that come with them work just fine. Great purchase!

We had a wooden pergola structure onto which we could easily tie all my bird and squirrel feeders and waterers- it was very very rotten so it's been taken down leaving me with the dilemma of how to re-install the wildlife restaurant. I did a LOT of searching and eventually purchased one of these - with a bit of trepidation about the nagging I would have to do to get my husband to install it for me. It arrived and a month passed - no installation so, in the midst of a temper tantrum one afternoon, I took it out and went and installed it myself - it was SO EASY and the birds are absolutely and utterly thrilled with the way their feeder hangs from the fence post behind a tree in a private sort of way :). I have ordered more of them and will be installing a fence buffet as opposed to the pergola one the creatures had. I cannot enthuse enough about these hooks - I absolutely and utterly love the ease of installation, the sturdiness and how perfectly they fit the bill if you want to hang something that needs to be free hanging off of the side of a something else like a fence.

Easy to mount on fence with a drill. I made sure there was a cross board running behind the fence board where I applied the screws. Very solid

What I loved about this hook was the simple design. I find a lot planter hooks are too ornate. The hook is Very sturdy and I hang heavy pots from.

The product looks good but time will tell how it weathers. Installation screws provided were not usable on a rough brick surface. I normally use Tapcons but the mounting holes were too small and I had to drill out the base plate holes to attack the hook to the brick. Seems to be strong enough to hold a heavy object,
