The good, the bad...just bad.
The good - quick shipping and it came in a nice/sturdy box.The bad - This mandrel is not milled from a single piece of wood. The sections/steps are glued together. How did I find this out??? When the top section broke off the 3rd time I used it to wrap wire for a bracelet. I was not using any tools, just my hands. The other 3 sections seem to be holding up fine, for now. It's suspicious and I'm skeptical.Additionally, pay attention to the measurements given. The mandrel is only 8 inches long, so there's not enough space in each step to work with. It's quite small.
