Metra98-8999 Turbo Pocket for Select 1987-08 Mitsubishi/Subaru/VW Vehicles

I bought this on the recommendation from another reviewer that it would work in a classic Saab 900, and they were right! I want to add some more details, however.The kit comes with mounting hardware and faceplates for three different manufacturers. I used the ones labeled as being for Volkswagen on the Saab. I had to take out the sheath that was present in the Saab, but then this pocket snapped right into place. I doubt I'll be able to get it back out without breaking it.For the faceplate, I used a Dremel to trim off the long pointy bits (not the connecting tabs), and then that fit perfectly as well. I was able to keep the cuts on the backside, so no unsightly Dremel marks are visible on the end result.One word of warning (and the reason for four stars instead of five), the first one of these I ordered came with a tab broken off of the faceplate I needed. And when I went to return it, it would not let me replace it with the same item. I had to either choose a completely different item (???) or get a refund. So I went with the refund and just immediately ordered the same thing again. Second one arrived in great shape, but I am a little nervous about the long-term quality of these now.In any case, for now it's fitting perfectly, and it looks great! Really tidies up the appearance of the center console. If it does fail in a year or so, at least it wasn't that expensive.

Would have got all stars if it had better instructions.

2004 Cadillac Escalade - Like the way my utility box turned out, installed it in the spot the CD changer was and ran the USB cable down from the stereo for my iPhone/iPad connections. It’s nice and deep for storage. I think it all turned out pretty good.

Nice pocket but has 2 holes on the top and bottom of the back of the pocket and I’m not a fan. Can’t put anything small in it or it will fall through.

I bought this for my 02 Yukon Denali with the intent on modifying and making it fit so I cannot attest to its fitment in the proper application. I wanted to get rid of my 6 disc cd changer which is roughly the size of a single din unit. All the mounts they included could help plenty of other vehicles do the same thing I did, but I ended up gutting my 6 disc and using the metal frame and slid the pocket in. Its nice and sturdy, does not budge when putting any weight or pressure on it and looks oem. 4 stars because the trim frames are really flimsy and easily broken

Item was installed and is sturdy. However does not fill the entire space in the dash of 07 Subaru Impreza and had no room for adjustment. From a professional standpoint very disappointed in the fitment due to the gap around the radio. It serves it’s purpose but is not the clean look install people want.

I used this in my 2000 Subaru Impreza and it fit great and looks nice in its spot.

Can't speak to the other adapters included, but for filling the gap from the double din factory radio in my Jetta this was perfect. Easy install, looks pretty good and doesn't feel too flimsy. Have used Metra install kits in the past and this one is as good as the rest I've had.

Pocket fit like a glove in Porsche Boxster 1999. Clips on bezel are a little bit fragile, on clip broke uppon first installation

Use in my 1999 Subaru JDM, RHD but fit pretty much any year within that catagory.Easy to use and follow the instructions

Installed into a 2002 Subaru Forester. Fit perfectly, with an OEM look. Comes with all the hardware to assembly the tray.
