I've used this floss for years and love it. It is strong and does not break. It does not easily slip when wrapped around my fingers. It slides easily between my teeth. There is enough on the reel to last for several months using it twice daily, so altogether, even though it is more expensive than a lot of other floss, I think it is well worth it. This is in a new design of packaging that runs more smoothly without tangling than the old one and makes it easy to see how much floss remains on the reel. I think that was an excellent change.Not that it has to do specifically with this product, but I wanted to remark on recent news that came out reporting use of floss did not demonstrate a decrease in the number of cavities. I suspect that simply means that people who bother to floss also otherwise do an excellent job of taking care of their teeth, specifically in terms of brushing, but the one point that is missed is that using floss has major impact on the health of the gums that does not arise from brushing alone. Flossing remains very important for the benefit of your oral health.

Still my favorite dental floss - for long time i didn't floss until my dentist was worried about my 5mm pockets, and i kinda freaked out etc., etc. My hygienist recommended this brand and this particular one, with strict warning to not get glide because glide basically doesn't work (it's too smooth/thin so it essentially does no scraping of stuff off the side of your teeth). Bummer 'cause Costco got the cheap glide packs, but oh well at least i don't have to have like 20 things of floss all over the place in my house.I bought this one online and it lasts FOREVER. I'm pretty generous with how much i pull out, and even with my ridiculous waste (i know, but it's really hard to hold on to it if it's too short), it still lasted honestly forever.

Best-floss-ever! I've been using this for the past couple years. It's tough, smooth, doesn't shred, and at 200 yds., lasts a l-o-n-g time. Right off the bat, the dispenser tells you it's a superior product—smooth, snug, opens easily, and closes with a firm, satisfying "click." Seems silly to get excited about something as mundane as dental floss, but this is a great product whose reliability takes a lot of the annoyance out of the daily task of caring for your teeth. It's the little things.

At last! I like the floss from the dentist because it is a little thicker. All of the glide stuff is nice, but if it is glide in and out so easy, then it isn't cleaning anything out either. The is just thick enough to give a little resistance, which is hopefully doing the job of cleaning between my teeth. This one is a winner for me.

Butler floss is more aggressive in cleaning teeth than teflon based flosses (e.g. Pro Health), and removes more debris. Teflon flosses get in and out easy, but don't always remove everything. They are relatively easy to cut or break and also easy to remove. Butler will shred rather than break and may leave some small threads to remove. I find that if I keep the Butler pulled extra taut, it will enter and exit tooth gaps easier. A little trickier to use but a cleaner result in my opinion.

This is great floss in general--not too thick or thin and just the right amount of texture to feel like its cleaning. We bought the multi-pack and couldn't beat the price. We also love the stand-up, easy to use dispenser. I do wish it had a replaceable spool because the dispenser seems heavy duty enough to last quite a while.

Recently I need to floss after every meal. Often, the floss doesnt seem to do the job and it is so painful. I read an article on various types of floss and waxed and flat sounded like the right kind. So I went right to Amazon and found this waxed Butlerweave. It works very well and his very comfortable. Thank Goodnesz.

I never thought it’d be reviewing a dental floss, but here we are! I’d been using a thick, green GUM mint floss which I loved, but couldn’t find it again. Hoping this product would deliver the same experience, I was thoroughly disappointed. It claims to resist shredding, but I experienced the exact opposite. If you have fillings in between teeth like I do, this floss catches them and shreds apart instantly, sometimes getting completely stuck. A bit ironically, I’ve had to floss out the pieces of floss left between my teeth after it tears apart many times. If you have tight teeth and need to push harder to thread the floss between them, the thinness of the floss makes it painful on the gums. Lastly, and while not overly important to me, it lacks flavour. The worst part is that because of the minimum quantity, I’m now stuck with over 350m of it!

First, let me say that this product is amazing value for money -- there's so much high quality floss at an unbeatable price point. I like using the Butlerweave floss because it's textured enough to clean out the space between my teeth and the waxed surface helps the floss slide easily. I really enjoy the floss itself, and would recommend it. However, I took off 2 stars because the packaging was very difficult to use. The way that the floss is wound around the internal "bobbin" makes it very difficult to be pulled out easily. I tried to open the white plastic shell to expose the floss to see if it was caught, but ended up breaking a portion of the shell in the process of trying to troubleshoot why my floss wasn't able to be easily pulled. I eventually gave up and just took out the floss and used a pair of scissors to cut it when I used it. Again, the floss is great but I really didn't like how difficult the packaging was to use!

This is my favourite of the GUM floss I tried. But it is a flat tape floss, not a string floss as the title suggests. It also says that this is waxed floss, but there is very little wax on this floss. Although this floss does not work for me - I prefer my usual brand - I can see why some people would like this GUM floss, so I gave it a good rating.

My new favourite! This is the stuff my dentist uses. I have tight fitting teeth but using a thin floss doesn’t feel like it’s cleaning well so I wanted a think floss to really clean the gum line area. What a difference!!! I tried this as soon as it arrived! I floss twice a day and this floss showed me how bad my other floss is!!! People complain that this floss shreds, but if you floss properly and move to a new spot on the floss with each tooth, it won’t shred. I love the minty fresh feeling between my teeth!

First time purchasing dental floss. Sounds weird I know. But I got invisaligns because I have gaps the size of the Grand Canyon in my face. For the first time in my life they finally gotten close enough that food has gotten stuck in my teeth. I don't really have it to compare it to any other dental floss but... It's working.The floss takes the food out of the teeth. There seems to be a lot in each roll, for a buck a roll I think it will last a while.
