I've only used it a couple of time on a PS1 which was my young daughters in the 90's. I inherited it from her when she got the newer models. I've a 48" TV too. Hooking the device to the console and the TV was simple enough; then came the initialisation of the console. It started straight away with no problem. What surprised me, was how clear and sharp the images were. There is not 'lag' when using the controllers at all. All the colours are exact like they were on the old TV sets which surprised me! So for the price, it was a bargain! Connections are straight forward, so no faffing about. It's just plug in and go, like the old times!

If you want to play PS2 games and enjoy good image quality, I would recommend this product. The device came well-packaged and is simple to use with a plug-and-play method. Have tried a number of these cables and had very mixed results. I bought this specifically for the PS1 as there are many cheaper alternatives which work just as well for the PS2 but for PS1, every option I have tried has lasted very little time before developing an issue or just stopping working altogether. The LevelHike cable worked first time with no issues, gives as crisp a picture as you can expect from a non-HDMI modded console and has no large dongle hanging immediately out the back which makes it much easier to hide the cables. All in all, I am very pleased with the cable. If the cost was closer to £30 than £50 I would recommend without a doubt. I managed to pick up whilst on offer at £35 and very happy with the purchase. Worth it if you don't mind the additional cost.

I initially bought the AV to HDMI converter as it was cheap. It worked, but writing was blurred and the picture was dark and fuzzy. This converter is a bit more money but well worth it. Crisp writing and no more dark unplayable areas. The games now appear as I recall on an old CRT Tv! 4.3 and 16.9 both work as intended. I have my PS2 connected to a ASUS 27” gaming monitor. This converter has never worked correctly for me. The picture quality is terrible at times, it often has a green or yellow tint to it and the sound doesn't fully come through either. You have to spend ages wiggling the cable and removing/inserting it again, hoping you get lucky and finally get it to work as it should. Even if you get lucky enough to make the picture and sound clear, simply nudging the wire or box can lose it again immediately. It wasn't too bad at first so I simply tried to tolerate it, but it has gotten worse as time went on. It's only been used a total of maybe a dozen times over the course of a year or so and it's rapidly deteriorated with each use. I don't know if I just got unlucky and got a faulty product, but I do see other low star reviwers had the same problems as me, so perhaps not. When the item first arrived, it did appear to have already been opened as the seal was broken. I may have gotten an already returned product. I've never been able to get in touch with the seller, so I'm finally leaving my negative review here. I imported this item from the US, so return shipping there from where I live would be extremely expensive regardless and cost more than the item is even worth. Especially if I'm likely going to get another broken product as replacement. If the seller reaches out to me themselves to help me replace this item (hopefully without charging extortionate amounts for a return) I would consider changing my rating. But as it stands right now, I cannot recommend this item at all. Very disappointing.

Upscaling is good and sound quality does not breaks or static noise, only thing I noticed is the conector might be just a little bit bigger than the original cables so I had to apply some wiggling to push it in but it works fine. I used it for my original PsOne with an LGC1 model 65inch and it runs soooo smooth

A fantastic puchase. Works just as it should. Easy plug and play to HDMI input. Is a tight fit to the game system. Have been wanting to play on my Playstation systems both my original Playstation and my PS2.

Love it! PS2 games look better than ever. Works perfectly with my Sony OLED tv. I saw one review that said this won’t work on Sony tv sets, but it is working on mine. I had an rca to hdmi converter made by Onn that I got at Walmart for more than this costs. It was terrible. The picture was blurry and dark. With this it is now clear and bright. My PS2 games have been given a new life. Well worth the money if you want to play your old games again.
