Been pretty rock solid super impressed with quality for price and wheels and bearing are pretty smooth and long coasting

This is my first board I bought for cruising. I asked the seller to change it to Red and boy, did I not regret that! It looks amazing. It chips easily though (the top) and the top is unfinished but it's really great for the price. When I'm going fast and cradle side to side, it feels like i'm rocking. Not sure if it's symmetrical but i can't figure which is the top/bottom side. One issue is that the board doesn't seem to go further than my friend's drop-through board which he got for five dollars more. The wheels on his are soft while mine are plastic-y and my wheels are noisy. Even after all of my adjustments and trial/errors, I can't seem to get my board to fly by free-er. After riding for about 30 minutes though, I think I broke the bearing in and it got a little better. All in all, one of my best purchases on amazon! Only thing was that the package was torn and beat up. I personally blame the UPS guy (hence I saw him running away as he run my door bell rather than casually stroll away).

I have been skateboarding from 12 to 17 and then I gave that up for snowboarding and this season will be the 25th season. I bought this longboard because I wanted to get into it after seeing the kids around town flying around on these incredibly cool boards. Even for someone as experienced as I am on board, I believe this was a perfect purchase because I didn't spend $200 or more without knowing that I really want to see this through. I gave four stars because of the obvious the bearings and bushings that are super low quality ( your basically just paying for the wood anyway) . However for a mere $15 you can upgrade to name brand bushings and Bones Reds bearings which is what I just did today. Holy crap, speed wise its a night and day difference . I want to get into bigger Hills and maybe start sliding but at my age I am perfectly fine I'm just carving up the streets for now. Before you go buying a brand name board which is what I normally do. I am one of those people who will spend the extra $100 for the name because I believe you get what you pay for. But in some cases like this it make sense to go mid level before dropping twice the $$. I'm going to keep this one until I run into the ground because the board construction is very solid and I love the shape. The trucks are okay too and will do the job and until they break. I'm not going to complain. Again I recommend buying bones Reds bearings and a medium skateboard bushings when you buy this setup now. IF you wait your only impeding on learning because they really are such a big difference. You will not be disappointed in fact you'll be totally stoked. IN every other review it says that you will want to replace the bearings and bushings and bones are the most inexpensive while being an all around industry standard. Good luck with whatever choice you make and ride on.

The deck is awesome. Maybe too much concave for my liking but that makes it more versatile. The wheels and bearings I got are also great. They compare well to my main (more expensive) build. I would say the only weak spot is the trucks. I don’t know if it is just the bushings or the whole thing, but I can’t get it to turn much even with adjustments. Overall, I think it is a great deal

This is an exceptional board. 1 month of use and still performing great. The bearings are ABEC 7 which is just a measurement information and doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the bearings. But it is working great and I am contemplating getting some bearing oil after just a month of use because the bearings are already grinding. It is a super smooth ride and low to the ground. I ride downhill and never speed wobble. It's honestly very difficult to fall off the board because it is so wide and low to the ground. However when turning, no matter how sharp, the board does not scrape the ground. I ride on mostly brick walkways and cement and it handles well on both. I definitely recommend the board but you might want to buy new wheels because mine are already shredding pieces on the edges after just a month of daily use.

It came late for one, but it said delayed, so I'm going to assume it was from traffic from an accident or something. Does not influence my rating. I've been riding longboards for almost a year, so I'm not the most experienced. But I've ridden more than enough different boards (I currently have two longboards, two skateboards, and a miniboard) with a lot of different bearings, wheels of different durometer and size, and trucks (I have both sidewinder and double reverse kingpin). The bearings that come with this is pretty lame. It's worse than Bones Redz, which is like $11 and like the lowest standard of "decent" bearings (aka good enough to buy but by a small margin). If you've ever been to Big 5, Walmart, Dick's, etc and picked up one of their longboards and tried spinning the wheel, only to find it stop spinning after like 2 seconds, their bearings are slightly better than that. Maybe 4 seconds. I bought some random Chinese factory bearings from Amazon for like $3, and it was pretty similar to that. The drop down is really nice. Because it's so low, it's really easy to pedal without having to bend your non-pedaling leg too much. It's also easy to balance on (like balancing in a subway train). Wheels are whatever. It's good for casual cruising, but I wouldn't trust it for downhill (especially since there are better wheels depending on weight and otherwise). Maybe if I was better, I would try. All in all, I didn't like it enough for the price, so I returned it. Got something else and I enjoyed it a lot more.

I’m learning how to ride a longboard as a middle-age right of passage. Actually, I don’t want to keep my bike in my car as a skateboard is much more compact, but I digress... This is a great beginner board and it’s totally on you to take it to the next level, it needs some tweaks! First, put some Mach 1 78’s on this thing to increase your speed and clearance. SPEED IS SAFETY, the faster your board THE EASIER IT STAYS UNDER YOUR FEET. With new wheels come new bearings, spend the $20 for a set of Bones bearings. I just doubled the cost of your board. Adjust accordingly. Next, you’ll need to turn. It still won’t carve 100% until you adjust the trucks and bushings, some cone bushings $5-$10 will help, but if that’s not enough you may need some trucks with more carve in them. I just loosened the nut on mine as much as I can safely go and I still can’t pull a u-turn on a standard neighborhood street, you’ll want to look up an upgrade that will help you lean into the turns. This is very important as there’s no kick on this thing and it’ll take a while before you’re comfortable with a slide. Before any of that happens, you gotta carve the turns. I’m using mine to commute a couple miles through a midtown neighborhood with gentle hills and light traffic. I’ve been riding for two months and I’m still watching YT videos and dialing it in. In time, this will be one of the best and most versatile boards on the market, but it needs to be tuned for what your needs are and your current skill level! Hope that helps!

I wanted a strong, stable board for casual riding. Being sometimes a bit heavy, I wanted something that could carry my weight without too much flex. Being older and inexperienced at long-boarding, I wanted a stable board that would not put me at undue risk. The low-rider drop down style fits the bill for stability. I didn't want to throw a lot of money at the sport and if I do spend more, I'd like to put it into a variety of boards instead of one top-end piece. For that, these Epic boards seem to fit the bill. I might later want a board with more of a kicktail, but for learning the dropdown is foolproof. I'll likely look to the Epic for whatever different board I might want to try next. I might put some 6 inch wheels and 15 inch trucks on this or another board sometime. I can upgrade trucks, bearings and wheels if I find myself wanting more, but the stock machinery on this board seems to do the job. I rode on a variety of surfaces and any mishaps i suffered were completely a result of my effort. Overall, I'd consider this a great investment for anyone who doesn't care to spend four times as much on a high end board. I also like the selection of basic no-frills finishes. Mine is black.

the good: this drop down deck is 9ply and thicker than the Atom 9 ply drop through I have, the Yocaher doesn't flex under my '6"3 225lbs and is great for a 49yr old beginner that doesn't quite have the balance or skill to push off on a top mount deck. The grip is thick good quality and the trucks and bushing and wheels all appear to be good quality. the bad: the bearings are noisy and binding and have no spacers, its an easy swap out. The grip tape was bubbled up on the deck contours, another easy fix just poke with a pin and press it down. the worst: the box it came in might as well have been tissue paper, it was busted open, the deck had broke through and one end of deck was all mashed up and only one end of deck is wrapped in bubble wrap for some protection. I put bump guards on both ends regardless to minimize any damage I might inflict but seriously they should pack this better. overall i'm pleased with this product but if it had arrived with any more damage than it did i would be sending it back
