One of the coolest light novels I've read in a while. Original and creative and funny and adventurous. Can't wait to get into Book 2 now.

Amazing story. I loved the manga and the anime. This novel takes the story to a whole new level with the in depth detail on what's going on. A must buy for any Kagerou Project fan. Tho my book arrived a little used looking, rather than brand new as what i bought. Little disappointed in Amazon with that.

Well this is defiantly something different. Much smaller than I expected for the price, but there was a lot of story crammed into the pages and the margins where minuscule. It was really nice actually and had a great story. The writing style threw me off a little though. The dialogue seems to be mostly the word "like.." over and over, to the point that sometimes it's hard to understand what the characters are trying to say, but this is based around high school students of the late 2000's so...

I finished the first volume of the novel only to realize that both the manga and anime were just tips of the iceberg. Due to pacing requirements, neither managed to touch the level of detail going on within the novels. I enjoyed it a lot more than I had expected to due to the gratuitous amount of character interaction and scenes which never appeared in the anime or manga. Recommended for Kageoru Project fans.Volume 1 mainly covers the story for these 3 songs from the Kagerou Project: Jinzou Enemy, Kisaragi Attention and Mekakushi Code/Chord. On a side note, small parts of Kagerou Daze (the story arc) are used as transitions between each of these chapters.

Filled with quirky, eccentric characters with relate-able problems to solve. I really enjoyed this book!

Perfect for my collection

Arrived a day early in perfect condition.The writing is a bit simple, but it's still a good read.

I finished the novel yesterday and I was anticipating great things since I heard much praise for the light novel series.As a fan who always followed the videos than the Manga (which I didn't really finish yet) and the Anime (plus movies), I looked forward reading the so called 'detailed' light novel.At first I was suprised since usually light novels I bought before had double in size what 'In a daze' had with about 168 sites...But don't worry don't judge a book by its cover because the rumor of being detailled is true!I can't explain how vivid and lively the writing style was, you basically could feel or imagine what the characters are going through and imagine.Since I already was expecting some of the scenes since I followed the series it still surprised me to a point where I didn't really know what to expect.The characters who were so familiar... it was like meeting them again and meeting them for the first time, because reading really throws you in midest of the world where this whole story is playing out.And on top of it, it is just the introduction into the series, I don't want to imagine the rest of the series when the beginning caught me so off-guard even when I was expecting what would come.In this book for the first time I had the feeling they would show more of Momo in the beginning of the series ( I didn't read the Manga so I don't know how detailled it is depicted there).I personally think fans of the series will enjoy this even more since all the characters, backgrounds and perspectives are shown here in the novel.Starting with the 2nd novel soon.

Like the story would definitely recommend it to everyone.
