The tape is pretty easy to tear when peeling it off the roll. I haven’t masked anything off to paint but it seems a little thin

My entire reason for writing this review is to hopefully help someone from making the same mistake I did. I had about 180ft of this tape down on a Motorhome. The tape was left on for a few days due to the fact that multiple coats of paint had to be applied. Removal of the tape was a complete and utter exercise in frustration and disappoint. As can be seen in the photos the adhesive is too strong and the tape took existing paint off as well as leaving a adhesive residue in all areas used. A plastic razor was required in many areas to accomplish removal. The results will cause numerous hours of labor and a possible repaint to correct. So if you really like to work, this is in fact the tape to buy! I also had areas on the motorhome where I used tape made by another company with a 3 in the name and that tape performed without issues and left cleaner crisper lines and was removed with ease. To be fair, my wife used some of the tape on a laminate floor while painting base boards and the tape was left on the floor for about thirty minutes and performed as you would expect. If I could rate negative, I would. I am not one to write reviews, just trying to help someone from expense and frustration.

I bought this to use with my 3d printer but unfortunately the top of the tape has something on it that doesn't allow the PLA to adhere to it. Ended up buying some green painters tape and 3m blue tape which actually work.I could see this being okay for painting - it sticks alright on the walls, peels easily, but I cannot stay anything about whether not it bleeds since I did not test that. In general, I would suggest saving yourself the headache and sticking with the known brand names for a couple extra bucks.

Works as well as the more expensive name brands.

Pretty good. Tack doesnt last long, but can still peel your art if you arent careful. Still some of the better tape ive used. Would buy again.

I had to buy this because Amazon was sold out of the only other painter's tape they sell that's both only one roll and 2 inches in width, and doesn't cost a fortune. One roll of 2 inch frog tape is 18 bucks! There is an oily coating on it that makes my fingers slippery, and it has a noticeable odour like petroleum. And the smell gets on my fingers.I'm not using it for painting so I can't say how it works for that but I can't help think the oily coating might get on the surface you're painting. I use painter's tape for taping things I don't want to have a sticky residue on.
