To me, and I do love and buy nice pens, this set is the equivalent in quality of a very nice namebrand pen set that would sell for at least double the price in those glass cases at the office supply store. This set, with that same high quality, sells for at least half that price, is what I am saying. Amazing! The finished, both the red and the black, are gorgeous and not merely coated on. The length, width, balance and weight are just right, also. They are gel, not ballpoint, and each comes with refills (medium fine pt) and beautiful velvety pouches, also.

First of all, I like how pricey pens write and I own an assortment of Mont Blancs and Cross pens, but I wanted something for me to use when I am at my place of work where if it got taken I wouldn't complain to much. Being a teacher, things have a way of disappearing, especially pens. So I purchased this pen knowing its a $10 pen and not expecting much. With all that being said, I really like this pen. Is it a Mont Blanc or Cross? Definitely no, but it still writes smoother than a basic ball point and looks like a much more expensive model pen. If you are like me that is looking for a nice looking pen that writes well that doesn't break the bank, this is the pen to buy.

I love these pens because they are so nice and I love having an elegant writing piece. I don't use the ink that comes with it, I buy Pilot gel pens and stick the refills in these pens. Perfect! The only thing, as with most capped pens, is that the cap does not stay on. I tried all kinds of things including tape on the inside, stick materials, and other things to create friction. As much as I love these pens, I finally had to give up. I couldn't stand taking notes in a meeting when the cap falls off on a glass conference table, and everyone looks to see what the noise was. I can just take off the cap and lay it to the side, but this changes the feel of the pen and the balance is off. I wish so much I could figure out a way to keep the caps on, but until then, they are sitting in a drawer.

I’m a definite office supply girl. Anytime I go to the store I look/buy the fun pens, cute paper/post it’s etc. I don’t generally like to buy pens online but I did this time. It writes very nice and smooth (that’s huge for me, extra points when it makes your hand writing look amazing cause mine can use help) and with easy. Only thing is I wish it wasn’t so heavy (heavy in regards to attach to my lanyard around my neck) so I could carry it on my lanyard at work. I have a mini pen attached cause of the weight of most normal size pens, but I must carry a pen at all times. You won’t be disappointed in this pen and comes with ink refills too.

It’s a pen it writes. But the cap won’t stay on on the back it pops off when I write. When writing it sounds like it’s scratching not smooth at all.

I bought this pen for journaling a little over a month ago. In that time, I have switched to my last refill cartridge out of three. This is due to the fact that after a few weeks, the ink flow falls off pretty quickly. I do not write enough that this would happen. The cartridge that was already in the pen when I bought it was bad from the start, it would stop writing or leave very light marks on the paper instead of the nice ink flow that the seller promised. I switched to the second cartridge when the first one got even worse and was barely writing at all. Both cartridges of ink would cause scratchy sounds when writing which is not what I expected from a pen of this price. The finish of this pen also isn’t great. Within the first week of owning this pen I dropped it and that’s on me, but the pen now has two scratches on it. I am surprised that it scratched so easily and am a little disappointed. This morning, I switched to my third and final ink cartridge, and when I was removing the little rubber ball, which is sealed around every tip, the entire tip and the little bit that the ink from the cartridge flows into, came out entirely. Once again not something I would expect from a pen that I paid a little under twelve US dollars for. I managed to put the assembly back into the body of the cartridge and it is writing well as of right now. Hopefully it stays that way. Maybe I just got a bad pen but I don’t know. I bought this pen because I expected to love it and for it to be one of the last pens I ever bought, but I cannot in good faith recommend this pen to anyone reading this review.

Recently, I had a problem with their pens and I posted my comment expressing my disappointment. In one day, they responded with an apology and an offer to replace the pens or refund my money. WOW! What a high-quality company! They stand behind their product and addressed the problem. Well done Tepenar!!!

This is a nice high-end pen! Love the weight and sleek design. Some pens “leak” too much ink when you write but not this one.
