Come to think of it, I have no idea that salespeople are using manipulation to get us to buy the things they are selling. This book sort of enlightened me on that aspect. Indeed they do since most of the time, I do not think I need something not until a salesperson told me that I do need it. I get to understand the mechanics of convincing others to side with me and to win an argument of course.

The ideas are put forth with some direction, vague direction. Not a very concrete step by step process. It ends before it is time!
