My Favorite of the Series!
Well, it's official! Lincoln Moorehead has dethroned my beloved Bane Mills as my favorite Helena Hunting hero.I still love Bane dearly, but Lincoln was pretty much everything I love in a hero and more. He truly snuck up on me and I never expected the reclusive Moorehead sibling and beloved Mills cousin to be any competition for the #ChurchOfBaneCock. Boy, was I wrong! From the very beginning, I was pulled into the story and didn't want it to end. Handle With Care is book 5 in the Shacking Up series, but can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend the previous books however, because they're hilarious and characters from those books do appear in Handle With Care. It's so rare for me to love the hero and heroine equally, but this was definitely the case with Lincoln and Wren. I loved them so much both as individuals and as a couple. They had such electric chemistry and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them go head to head in this enemies to lovers/taboo office romance. They were both intelligent, driven, loyal, and stubborn people. They challenged each other and were so evenly matched. Both knew how to push the others buttons and that passionate banter and back and forth translated so deliciously well in the bedroom. I loved that once they were in, they were all in, and that there were no silly misunderstandings or unnecessary drama between them. They were an amazing team and handled problems maturely by communicating, listening, and supporting the other. The epilogue was sexy and sweet and left me with a happy heart and huge smile. There were plenty of laughs in Handle With Care, but there were also more emotional moments too. The overall tone of the story was less playful than some of the previous books in the series, but it worked well with our characters and made me love the book more. G-mom was absolutely amazing and Armstrong and Gwendolyn played their roles perfectly. Handle With Care is my new favorite in the Shacking Up series (sorry Bane!) and you definitely don't want to miss it!

4.5 starsLet’s face it, dear readers. The world in which we live is chaotic, nonsensical, unsettling, and even terrifying.Thank goodness, then, for Helena Hunting. Her books are balms for our troubled times. They make us laugh, cry, feel all warm and tingly, and they also make us feel more than a little aroused. These are all very nice things, non?In Handle with Care, Hunting turns her focus on Lincoln Moorehead, the largely absent scion of the family that spawned the awful Armstrong, he of the very brief marriage thanks to him getting caught on the PA system getting orally serviced by one of the guests. Armstrong is about as delightful as an unlanced boil, maybe even less so, which helps explain why Lincoln has chosen to eschew the family magazine business for charitable outreach in Guatemala, amongst other third world locations. With the death of Daddy Moorehead, however, Lincoln has been beckoned home. His Botoxed and preserved mother hired Wren, a public relations specialist, to be Lincoln and Armstrong’s handler, ensuring that any press about them is good press. This is an easy feat where Lincoln is concerned; for Armstrong, not so much. The minute Wren and Lincoln meet, sparks fly. His initial wariness of her dissipates as he gets to know her, as does hers of him. Helena Hunting holds your anticipation tightly, building and building and building on Wren and Lincoln’s attraction until they (FINALLY! MERCIFULLY!) act on it.My favorite thing about this book is the way Hunting shows you how tight Wren and Lincoln are. When conflict comes their way, their first reaction is to wonder how the other person will feel. Helena Hunting doesn’t engage in artificiality as she portrays these two. There is no forced, histrionic break-up. What transpires between Wren and Lincoln feels organic to who they are.As much as you may loathe Armstrong, he is hilarious to keep around. His complete lack of self-awareness made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. Yes, he’s gross, but you can’t help but enjoy him when he’s on the page. There is a mystery in this book that will keep you guessing. Elements of it are a bit poignant and even heartbreaking, but Hunting doesn’t overplay her hand or manipulate you. She uses this mystery to both further develop Lincoln and Wren and to further solidify them as a couple. With each installment of the Shacking Up series, I fall in love with Helena Hunting’s Hot Heroes, and I fool myself into thinking she can’t top herself. She can. Lincoln Moorehead, I’m looking at you.

Handling Linc
She’s a sexy, sassy handler and he’s the man she’s been hired to make look like a competent CEO. Both are about to get a whole lot more than they bargained for.She was a handler. Her job was to clean up public image and keep them out of trouble. More often than not, she felt like a glorified babsitter. Wren’s current charge was a total handful and a D-bag with a capital D. Now she’s expected to take on his brother too. Her life is about to get sexy complicated.Lincoln ran from his family. Completely dysfunctional with a concentration solely on image, Linc wanted no part of them or their fake lives. However, the sudden loss of his father derails his plans. Now he’s forced to take on his role as CEO at the family business and leave behind his life of philanthropy. To say he’s not happy about it is an understatement.Linc has no desire to be in NY, but once he meets his handler, Wren, NY is no longer looking so bleak. He may have been a grump to start but once he gets to know Wren, he’s ready for a more hands-on approach to keeping him in line. The story was witty and sexy! Wren is a woman who knows exaclty what she wants and doesn’t hold back. She was awesome. She could wrangle grown men and make them hang their heads in shame from their juvenile behavior. Linc had his baggage when it came to family, but he was determined to know the truth. You’ll love these characters and their story. It had it’s funny moments and did not hold back when it came to the chemistry between Wren and Linc. The characters are forced to face some difficult truths and they come out stronger! Enjoy.

4 amazing stars!
I've no idea how I've managed this long without reading this book as Helena Hunting is a one click author to me...but I'm kind of glad I managed to wait as this was just what I needed to read at this time.Helena always manages to write a story that just keeps you hooked in and wanting to read every word....The characters are always unique and make you love them all in different ways too.But I may just think that Lincoln is one of my favs! The way he isnt interested in the family money makes you like him... the way he is with his grandmother is fantastic... the way he speaks to Armstrong is hilarious (although how he stays so calm with him amazed me!)And Wren... what a kick butt strong lady she is! Independent... loving... and manages to put Armstrong in his place by a look or a hand movement made me giggle through this book.Great story for sure!

A Fabulous story, full of sass, humour and wonderful characters.
Handle With Care was a fabulous story. That was fast paced and full of sass, humour, and wonderful characters, especially Wren, Lincoln and G-Mom. Not to mention some not so wonderful and yes I'm talking about Armstrong! Whose ass*****y knows no bounds and has now reached a whole new level. But boy did Wren and Lincoln know how to put him in his place and it was so delightful and pleasing to read.As was the relationship between Lincoln and Wren. Which was full of banter, shark, heat and sweetness and I was completely enamoured. Furthermore, their charming romance was just one of the many reasons why I could not put this story down; and it's why I would definitely recommend it to others.

5 Lincoln and Wren Stars
This is such an enjoyable series and this book focuses on Lincoln , older brother to the reprehensible Armstrong and cousin to the Mills brothers , Bancroft, Lexington and Griffin. I swear these books are the hot guy motherlode..Linc is reluctantly made to come back to his family business , leaving behind his nomadic lifestyle. Wren is given the task of 'handling' him - helping him readjust. These two fit so well together. Lots of humour, wit, sexy stuff ( great build up) .I like that the inevitable conflict didn't force a lengthy separation. This couple really do find strength in each other. The storyline has some surprises and I really hope there is at least one more book to come.HEA? YesCheating? No

A fantastic read
Handle with Care has all the great things you would expect from a Helena Hunting story . Great characters, a gripping storyline, angst, and humour. Lincoln was first introduced to us in the Shacking Up series as the brother of vile Armstrong, and I have been waiting for his book ever since. I think he might be my favourite! A fantastic read.
