Great for use with Hakko FX888D Iron; these are the hollow style. Holder is best feature.
I have used these a lot and they hold up very well. The metal tip holder is the best feature as I can have 10 tips right on my workspace within easy reach but without rolling around and getting lost. Comparing them to actual Hakko tips, these appear essentially identical with the exception that they do not have the tip number stamped on the side. These fit compatible irons that use the hollow tips; photos do not always show the back end of the tip. No problems with temperature regulation.

Great set!
So happy with this set. I do lots of decorative soldering with my jewelry and stained glass work and this is a nice set at a great price.

Great Value - worth it for the holder and the hooked tip!
What a joy to use the hooked tip on small circuit boards. Temperature transfer is good. The hooked tip is still doing well after hundreds of soldered connections.

As good as original Hakko tips? Maybe!
It's hard to write a review about soldering tips-they either work right or they don't. To be honest, I bought this set more for the tip holder than the tips, but I thought, what the heck! I'll give em a try. I had three of the original Hakko tips that matched three of the ShineNow tips, so I did a one-on-one test of those tips. Here's what I found.-The Hakko tips seem to heat up faster than the tips in this kit, but only by about 10 seconds at the most. However, once they've heated up and been 'seasoned' as you do with a new tip, the ShineNow tips worked as well as the Hakko tips. I was surprised and had to check if I was using a Hakko or a ShineNow tip.Are they as good as the original Hakko tips? Probably not, but they seemed darn close in my short tests. To the average person... even to the professional, the ShineNow tips are well made and would quite probably do the job. I'm going to stick with Hakko, myself. But I do a LOT of soldering and really want to make sure things will work when I want them to. To the average hobbyist, the ShineNow tips are great and are an excellent, low cost alternative to the expensive name-brand soldering tips.As to the shipping, they arrived very quickly and were professionally packaged. For the price, you'll have a hard time doing better than the ShineNow soldering tips.

They are okay
The tips definitely work. I can't attest to their longevity in comparison to actual Hakko tips. I used a tip successfully through a project. It is an option if you are looking to save. However, Hakko tips are around 5 to 9 dollars and these are about 2 dollars a piece. A few tips came damaged with some what deep gouge in them. The gouge is visible on the side of the tip which is laying in front of the rest. I think the tip holder, like other reviewers stated, is the sweetener for the deal. I like how the tips in the set are mostly chisel type which is most useful and the other types round off the set, giving versatility.

Convience
Several companies are selling these soldering tips. What tipped (sorry) the scale for me was the tip holder. This simple idea makes it easy to organize and keep track of small parts that could easily go astray.
