Nemo Men's Riff Down Sleeping Bag (15 & 30 Degree)

Great sleeping bag! Light. Warm. Comfortable. I rate 5 stars but note that the overnight temperature on October 10 in La Grande, OR was 16 degrees Fahrenheit. That was the lowest temperature on my recent five-day hiking trip to the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Other days were in the high 20s and low 30s overnight.I wear a base layer inside the bag of a merino wool long-johns top and bottom and Darn Tough wool (or REI smart wool) socks to keep the bag clean. With that on, I was never cold. Often, I pile warm clothing on the outside of the bottom of the tent and bag to have ready in the morning. That may have helped with warmth as well. Lastly, I wear a fleece-type cap to bed because I have no hair. The hood and flap of the Nemo bag would be perfect for someone with hair but they were also perfect for getting more outside air while keeping me warm. I put the bag on a Nemo Switchback sleeping pad which was just about right for cushion and perfect for warmth. The Nemo is a great bag. It warms quickly the minute you get in and is very soft to the touch. My quibble is the zipper. The pulls are a bit small for hands wearing gloves. I will add a pull tab to the zippers to make it easier in the future.

Currently using this bag on the Appalachian Trail. Having started in mid February I've seen some cold nights. Many below the 15 degree mark. Not once did I sleep cold. Tons of room to move make this a great option for those that like to move around in their bag. Grateful for splurging on this piece of gear.

This is a great product. Kept my young scout very warm in about 28 degree sleeping weather. Would definitely recommend.

I’m a side sleeper and I toss and turn a lot. Best backpacking sleeping bag for sleepers like me.Also, kept me very comfortable at 30 degrees.The bag is lite and compacts.Very happy with this sleeping bag!

This is exactly what i wanted. It is comfortable, has lots of room to move around. It it EXTREMELY warm but still light. It is quite expensive, but this sleeping bag is a shining example of “you get what you pay for” and “worth every penny”

As comfortable as you can get. Best sleeping bag I’ve ever used. I toss & turn a lot at night and this bag allowed plenty of room. If your on the fence, go with this
