I bought this part because the code I was given said that it was this part but when I put the part on it didnt fix the issue its saying that the part was bad and still giving me the same code I'm not happy with it

There was a thick film over the sensor and no instructions if it was to be removed before installation.

Buy a dependable crankshaft sensor.
