Great quality and everything you need for pourover coffee!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a glass carafe to chill my coffee for iced coffee when I discovered this gem! This is my first attempt making pourover coffee and it turned out wonderfully. The glass carafe comes with everything you need. It is a quality product and design. The glass carafe is substantial-not weak, cheap glass. I love the cork collar with the leather strap-which removes easily for cleaning.

Eco-Friendly, Non-toxic, Easy to use, and Brews a Great Cup
I've been using this pour over for about 3 months, and I have no complaints. The reusable filter is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and produces a smooth flavor with no grit. Set up takes under a minute, and clean up is easy considering the bottle and filter are both dishwasher safe. It's big enough to make 3-4 cups! The design is also boho minimalist, which I love. It's also portable! I think this would be a great option for RV's / travel / camping as well. I usually use lavazza brand coffee grinds, and they work great! Tastes amazing :)

Finally a great system
Finally a great cup of coffee with no papery taste from those filters - the mesh screen works great with a medium course grind. Don't need the 32 oz one but the size gave me options - just used my 2 cup pyrex to add the right amount of water for 1 cup. Nice part is you don't have to stand around with it drips through - just pour 12 oz on the grounds and come back in a few minutes. Big enough to use the big paper filters - Melitta or Chemex if you prefer. Less mess than a French Press and better taste

Well worth the price but be wary of the heat seeping through the insulating silicone belt.
This essentially a glass vase with a steel double mesh filter. Both pieces are functional and require only a slow constant stream of hot water to produce a decent cup of coffee . The double mesh filter prevents almost any finely ground coffee particulates from seeping into the pot below. The only negative is protective silicone belt around the constriction in the glass vase. If filled to near maximum capacity this is inadequate thermal insulation to protect the fingers from an uncomfortable amount of heat.

My first ever Pour Over Coffee Pot & I absolutely ***LOVE*** it!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been wanting a part of a coffee maker for a while now. Finally decided to purchase one for my birthday and so glad I decided on this one. I went back-and-forth here on Amazon searching for the best pour over coffee maker, comparing all the reviews and this one had the best of everything. Just made my 1st cup of coffee, it’s absolutely delicious and I just had to write a review immediately afterward. The Bodum Pour Over CoffeePot is stylish, sturdy, comfortable to hold when hot and cold and it’s super easy to take apart and clean. I had two videos to upload but Amazon only allows one, so trying to include as much info as possible. I used 12oz of water and 2.5 level scoops of coffee for my xl coffee cup. I would suggest grinding your own beans if you have a coffee grinder. I use the prepackaged Gevalia Papua New Guinea coffee which is a fine ground. Took about 5-6 min to brew. Side noting that the coffee will not be too hot by the time brewing has completed due to the length of time it takes for fine grounds to brew. A slightly larger ground coffee bean would work best and would be hotter when finished. I add milk to my coffee, so that does tend to cook it down slightly also. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this pot and the delicious cup of coffee it produced.Comparing my experience to the other reviewer’s, the Glass is sturdy, it’s not thin at all, so as long as you don’t manhandle it roughly, you should be just fine. The cork is very comfortable in your hand, protecting your hand from the heat of the coffee and it is NOT hot at all to hold. It comes apart easily, simply squeeze the button, gently loosen the leather strap, and it slides right over. The cork pops right off, wash with soapy hot water and dry. Cork pops right back on and stays in place while you use two hands to replace the leather strap and re-tighten in place. Love this pour over coffeepot and highly recommend it. Don’t hesitate, it’s perfect! Two thumbs up!

How wonderful a real cup of coffee can be! It is worth a bit of fuss.
We all know that coffee is going to get expensive and that k-cups are bad for the environment, so time to switch to ground. I'd used Chemex years ago and almost went that way, when I came across this little bodum. The size was perfect for someone used to making one cup at a time (the single-serve habit). It didn't require paper filters, a plus for the environment. And, it was cute as a button! I've made one cup so far, and not the first cup of the day; that will wait until I get in some practice (the skills we lose!). Was the coffee good? OMG! I sucked that first cup right down! I'd forgotten how wonderful a real cup of coffee can be! There was a bit of dust/ground stuff in bottom of my cup; this has never bothered me in the least, though some of you might want to use a paper filter with this. I won't. The coffee was just too, too good to mess with.

Very nice coffee brewing system
This is a wonderful coffee brewing system. I appreciate the glass carafe and the stainless steel filter. The rim of the filter could be stainless as well but it doesn't touch the hot water or coffee so it's all right. I appreciate the cork grip so my hand doesn't get burned when pouring the freshly brewed coffee. It also can come off if I want to wash the carafe in the dishwasher but I usually wash it by hand with a drop of soap and swish it with hot water because my hand does not fit in it. It's nice not to need paper filters. It does leave a very small amount of fine coffee grounds sludge at the bottom of the pot but it's not a problem if you're just careful as you pour or as you get to the bottom of your cup while you're drinking it. It fits just enough coffee in the full pot for my husband and I to fill our 16 oz cup with enough room for me to add milk.

The best!!!
MY FAVORITE COFFEE POT EVER. It's easy and all you'd need. It also looks very cute in my kitchen. Water flow is great. It is dishwasher safe. I've used boiling water and it seems to be very durable thus far. It takes less that 5 minutes for 5 cups of coffee.
