Slow reader
I have tried this device on two separate USB 2.0 ports and it will only achieve a sustained read rate of around 3-4.0MB/s - which is very slow. The card been read is a Class 10 SDHC - the fastest available. This card-reader is fine and sturdy, reliable and fine if you are not in any hurry. Right now, I'm moving camcorder video (24 GB) from my 32GB SDHC Card and its going to take hours. It should take about half an hour.
