Centurion Supports PANGEA Gloss White Beam-Thru White Glass Curved Tru-Corner 32"-55" TV Cabinet

Half way through assembling this I was thinking that 5 stars would be too low! The quality of the components and the accuracy of fit was excellent. However, when finished there were a few niggles. The curved profiles top and bottom fit into side profiles which are flat - that would be OK but the glass top that fits behind them is curved right to the ends, leaving a gap behind the flat side pieces. Although everything fitted together well, the four rubber feet were not aligned so the unit rocked front to back and there's no adjustment. The weight of the TV on top is well forward so this shouldn't be a problem in use. The doors are long so any lack of alignment at the hinge is magnified at the other end. Although there is quite a lot of adjustment on the hinge mounting, one of my doors cannot be properly aligned - I will have to file longer slots in the mounting. The finished unit looks good and the remote operates through the glass doors.

After looking for years for a nice looking black high gloss corner television stand we came across the Pangea, So looking at the reviews we decided we would go for it and ordered one, The unit arrived earlier than was specified which was great, So we started to unpack it in the living room and was pleasantly surprised with the packing as it was well packed but not over the top, laying out all the components it was great to see that they were well labelled and the instructions looked and read really clearly, now the moment of truth putting it together, this took approximately 30 minutes, at the end of the build stood up and looked at the completed unit and was very pleased indeed, with the look and the quality of the unit, we moved the unit into the corner and placed the tv on top and the sky and dvd player in side connected all the cables (lovely not to be able to see any at last), then again stepped back and looked very pleased indeed as it matches our other furniture to a t, so now the trial turned the tv on and tried both the sky and dvd from various positions in the room and it worked perfectly,Overall if you are looking for a high gloss black corner tv unit then we whole heartedly can not recommend this enough it looks great the quality is great and performs brilliantly, for us it has finally brought our living room together it was well worth the wait and it is most definitely well worth the price.

Well packaged with decent instructions. Pretty easy to put together by yourself. All the fittings were clearly marked and the holes were clean and in the right place. When assembled the unit looks good. Stylish and good quality. The only thing I’d point out is that because it’s a corner unit the rear is only 70 cm wide meaning if you have a Tv with corner stands , like a Samsung, the stands fall off the edge of the unit. I solved this by buying a universal cantre stand. Pain but cheaper than a new TV.

Bought this to replace an “open” glass TV stand, and conceal all the “spaghetti” behind from the TV, Sky Box, Bose Lifestyle system, Blu ray player and broadband router.In that respect this elegant black cabinet is excellent. The quality is first rate, the item was easily assembled in about 1 hour and fits the corner of our lounge beautifully.The only small issue was that the remote for our Bose system no longer operated the TV or the Sky box on the shelf below, but I resolved this by using the IR sender provided for the BoseOn the whole I’d have no reservation recommending this product

Easy to assemble, Sides and back could be a bit better quality, and one pack of screws could have been coated with a bit of something as they were going rusty, and the glass doors rub on the edges when you open the doors no matter how I adjust them.

Easy to put together...even on your own.Looks fabulous and good quality...apart from one of the doors hinges coming off....they are stuck on to the glass doors.Only glue that really worked to stick it back on was gorilla glue.Apart from that...really happy

Although it wasn't obvious, to me, from the product description that it comes flat pack and has to be self assembled the instructions are very clear. It even comes with the assembly tools so no need to hunt around for tools.The stand is a sturdy piece of furniture that comes well packaged with plenty of foam to protect the glass. Looks great in our room as the tv is also black and the remote controls work through the black glass.Very happy with my purchase.

Bought in June, it took a couple of hours to put together & a bit of fiddling with the door adjustment so they closed flush and level but looks fantastic when finished.Unfortunately, I smashed one of the glass doors in a bizarre accident when the end of a cable hit it while it was open. Contemplated taking the other one off so it was just an open cabinet but after contacting the supplier they were able to send a replacement which I got the next day. Great service!
